Opiniones

It's appalling what's happening here. The nuns have no humanity or compassion. They don't care about sick people, even if it's just depression. They're nothing like the "little sisters of the poor"; quite the opposite. They've made a fortune by taking what's meant for the elderly, and then they go around asking for donations. They have volunteers working for them without pay, making them do the work that should be done by the people who supposedly work here. These women are anything but nuns. They're awful.

They have little of a sister to the poor, as they lack charity and humanity. If the elderly person in question has any mental problems—depression, Alzheimer's, or senile dementia—they won't accept them. Even worse, if they're already in the nursing home and problems arise, they decide to expel them without explanation. They leave them in a state of helplessness without a second thought. These "ladies" have little humanity, to be polite.

The Little Sisters of the Poor treated the nearly eighty residents with exceptional care. The order was founded almost two hundred years ago by Jeanne Jugan and has been in the city for over 125 years, earning the respect and affection of the residents. It's clear there's no profit motive; on the contrary, a genuine spirit of service. A pleasure.

My grandparents couldn't get in because they were in poor health. BEWARE of those nuns who call themselves "little sisters of the poor"—they have practically nothing. I don't recommend this place. They'll keep your pension.

I think it's a very nice residence, and a peaceful place, with good facilities and a great location in the city, surrounded by gardens. I've heard it's one of the best in Talavera. I really like the architecture.
