Opiniones

My mother has been in this residence for almost five years. I have to say she didn't want to be anywhere else. The treatment from the caregivers, receptionists, management, etc., has been extremely cordial, and all the staff were very caring and attentive to her. The only reason I'm not giving it more stars is because of the medical service. I think it falls quite short in that area, and we've had quite a few problems. The coordination with the nursing service doesn't work either. My sisters and I have had to chase after medical appointments, etc. I think the food is more or less like in all residences; my mother said there were good things and so-so ones. In five years, she only complained about this on a few occasions. We also haven't had any problems with lost clothing or anything like that. I think overall it's recommendable.

My mother was admitted to that facility ostensibly for rehabilitation after a hip fracture. She wanted to be taken to the bathroom, but they wouldn't take her. She left "taking steps" while seated in her wheelchair and stood up on her own. She slipped in the bathroom in her room, which is kept wet, and had a nasty fall, fracturing her femur and wrist. They called me hours after the fall. I requested a meeting with the caregivers involved and the Director, a rude and arrogant woman, lacking empathy and trivializing the situation. The caregivers didn't attend the meeting; only a nurse and a physical therapist did. Instead of addressing the seriousness of the negligence, the Director said that falls are accidental and occur due to the frailty of the elderly. I was very upset and told her that, given their cognitive impairment, some residents might jump out. Then they'll tell the families that falls from windows are accidental due to their mental frailty. These accidents are a crime that violates the right to protection, safety, and supervision, but of course, one day I counted 34 elderly residents for only one caregiver because her two colleagues were in a bathroom assisting an elderly man. I asked why it took so long to call me as a family member, and they told me we were a secondary priority in an emergency. I requested a report of her medical history on December 14th; today is January 8th, and I still haven't received it. They claim they are working on it and that it has been delayed due to the busy time of year. By law, they must provide it as soon as possible; otherwise, it's clear that the transparency of what happened is questionable. They also haven't provided her with many physiotherapy sessions, and they make you sign a document stating that you can't sue the staff for civil liability, only the nursing home, so they are more than liable. I do not recommend this place for any elderly person. It was her roommate who started shouting and yelling for help. This woman is very shaken, and both she and my mother are terrified of falling. The rest of the days it's absolute sycophancy! It's unethical of staff to agree to work in those conditions.

The service was excellent; they treat the elderly like family, they are very caring and thoughtful, and they do a great job with our seniors. I am delighted and would recommend it without hesitation.

Since my mother moved in almost three years ago, we've never had a problem or misunderstanding. On the contrary, my mother's quality of life has improved, as she receives care from the moment she wakes up until she goes to bed. They also take care of her physical appearance, ensuring her grooming, and providing daily psychomotor activities and exercises to strengthen her muscles and bones. Regarding the food, I think it's important to highlight that it's prepared at the center, and they meticulously manage each resident's allergies and intolerances (my mother has intolerances). I also want to congratulate the entire team, but especially the caregivers who work tirelessly every day to maintain cleanliness and care for the residents.

I've been here for four months and it's been very good. I would stay if I could.
