La Residencia de tercera edad Virgen de Begoña I recibe evaluaciones muy polarizadas: mientras algunos usuarios destacan positivamente la excelente calidad de cuidados, limpieza, alimentación, actividades diversas y acreditación oficial, otros reportan problemas graves como desaparición de pertenencias de residentes, trato deficiente y una dirección caracterizada por falta de empatía, arrogancia y comportamientos discriminatorios hacia el personal. Esta división extrema entre opiniones sugiere inconsistencias significativas en la gestión y experiencia de la residencia que merecen ser investigadas.

The best nursing home I've ever seen. Exquisite care, cleanliness, fantastic food, wonderful staff, always clean and well-groomed residents. They do a lot of activities, have a TASOC (Tasoc), psychology, dance classes, etc., etc., and they're also accredited by the Canary Islands government. A great success.

Mysteriously, many of my relative's things disappeared before the move, clothes, perfumes, glasses, cosmetics, personal care devices, radio...etc etc... (you have to have bad blood to steal from a disabled person)... apart from the final treatment towards the person staying and their relatives, from the lady/gentleman/lady/manager...manager/owner/director, whatever that person is...leaves a lot to be desired...arrogance, conceited, rude, little empathy...etc etc...

The director of the Virgen de Begoña centers, an elderly lady who is quite rude, haughty and overbearing, who shows little empathy, with prejudices towards geriatric care workers who are over 30 years of age and who have worked for more than ten different companies in their lives, thinking that this is a symptom of repercussions in order to be able to carry out their functions as an assistant, when nowadays the work is terrible and the companies of this type of anti-union geriatric health care, all of them do not meet the requirements established by law, practically none of them, and then they are surprised that the employees have a varied CV.
