We were passing through and inquired about this residence for our uncle. The visit with Vanessa was very pleasant and professional. The facilities have a very peaceful atmosphere. We're from the Barcelona metropolitan area, so visiting would mean traveling many kilometers, but if we were from the area, we wouldn't hesitate to choose it in Valls. Thank you!

This residence has a lot of work ahead of it... Don't be fooled by your first meeting with Vanesa or Albert; they're the directors, they're friendly and know how to talk to people, but that's nothing like the conditions the residence offers... The caregivers are completely burned out and can't seem to get anything right, and their dissatisfaction with the working conditions is obvious. The facilities leave much to be desired. Your feet stick to the floor because it's so dirty, the sinks leak, and the rooms have crooked wardrobes—very neglected overall. The kitchen is a disaster, small, dirty, and has stains that have been there for days. The first impression you get from walking in is a bad one, and that says a lot when it comes to choosing. Plus, they're not exactly cheap. When my relative was there, every time we went to see him, he was wearing someone else's clothes; they rarely got his clothes right...it was completely chaotic. Besides being neglected and depressed, he was always in the care of patients with mental health issues, and if your relative is mentally stable, think twice about placing him there, because it's a real shame. As for the nurses/assistants, there's not much to say; there's a mix of everything. I do empathize with them, though. As an anecdote, I remember one day overhearing them joking among themselves, telling the residents they were going to hit them if they didn't obey (joking or not, I don't think it's right, and I really wanted to say something to them).

We went to inquire about a family member's admission. Vanesa's service was excellent. If there were more people like her in customer service, we would all be better off, and she would serve as a role model for how to provide good service.
