Opiniones

It's a very welcoming residence, where the human touch and affection shown to the residents is evident. On the occasions I've had the opportunity to visit, I've noticed how attentive and kind every staff member is, always willing to help, ensuring that the elderly residents feel accompanied, safe, and respected. The facilities themselves are clean, well-maintained, and designed with the well-being of each resident in mind. It's a place I would definitely recommend.

Excellent residence. The staff are very kind, friendly, and professional. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and adapted to the residents' needs. You can see the dedication and care they put into their work every day. Very good organization and attention to both residents and families. Highly recommended ❤️

Good afternoon, I'm so grateful for all the help I've received over these past three years. I arrived in a wheelchair and now I can use a walker. The food is excellent, and all the staff are incredibly attentive and always looking out for me. I have so many wonderful memories and hope to continue creating even more. A highly recommended residence.

I could sing the praises of this nursing home, but it's impossible. They charge you for everything, even breathing. Miguel Márquez, THE FOUNDER, as the workers call him, should have a bust erected in his honor because he seems like a "wonderful" person, but make no mistake, his CV is as inflated as each patient's monthly payment. At the Almazan nursing home, they just fired the Social Worker for trying to establish union representation within the Miramar group. The law states that repressing or expelling any worker against their rights (union representation) is a crime. We're off to a great start, because the foundation and its other companies could really benefit from a Tax Agency inspection due to their enormous financial shortfalls. How much does it cost to keep a patient there? €1,957 a month! And they don't even have a nurse (when one is needed, they bring in the local nurse and pass the bill on to the patient). They have some nerve! A Social Worker? She's been fired for trying to get the company to have union representation. When the podiatrist comes, they charge €30 + the hairdresser €20 +... Wow, Miguelito, you're getting rich off the backs of the elderly in Almazan!!! The laundry room (it's in the garage) has two washing machines that are ancient, at least 15 years old, and the soap they use is pure lye and bleach. The clothes are full of holes and torn. They hang the clothes in the garage and don't even iron them, even though they tell you they will. There are three or four hospital beds and the rest are regular beds (like the ones you have at home) in shared rooms without air conditioning. The patients suffer so much this summer that more than one has ended up in the hospital with heatstroke, even though the law doesn't allow it: all beds must be hospital beds and all rooms must have air conditioning, especially for €1957 a month that they charge without extras. How many people work there? At night, there's someone who doesn't even have a degree and is just a local resident. And during the day, there are three caregivers every 12 hours. And the residence costs €1957. This residence is a danger to the local geriatric community because they charge a lot for terrible service. They don't even have a garden! And if they have to call an ambulance, they charge the patient, even though the 112 emergency service is free. The best thing to do is file a complaint, because €1957 a month is a lot, and this residence treats both patients and staff terribly. I don't recommend it. Finally: the invoices are issued in Asturias, even though the main offices are in Tarragona. That's really strange.

The residents are treated exceptionally well; the staff are very attentive and always look out for our grandparents. I highly recommend this care home.
