I know you're going to say I'm not in my right mind, but I don't care anymore because I don't live off what Doral thinks of me. They claim to be the best nursing home in Galicia, as they proclaim themselves, but the disability area leaves much to be desired; other modern nursing homes are far superior (especially those managed by Plena Inclusión). The treatment seems like something between a psychiatric hospital and a kindergarten; they call that area the "children's module," even though, for example, I'm almost 30. Then, the limited food under the pretext that "we're overweight." How could we not be overweight if you keep us locked up 24/7 in winter? Activities: Watching 3,628,262 movies, often children's movies, accompanied by spending the day playing and bits of cognitive stimulation that are often too easy for people who pursue other types of studies. The worst part of all: They're mandatory, under penalty of taking away your "free time," that is, TAKING AWAY YOUR STUFF AND BORING YOU FOR HOURS until the next workshop, which is just as boring. You have to ask permission even to go to the bathroom during meals and activities, and guess what: Sometimes they say no, and you have to put up with it. The few and bad outings are often taken away for the slightest thing (see: I get overwhelmed, I want to be on my own for a bit). There's only one per week, and only four residents go, handpicked by the occupational therapist and others. In short, you can go months without seeing sunlight. A few of us, privileged ones, fight with Vitrasa (that's another location without quality transportation) for independent outings, but if you mess up (from withdrawing money from the bank to the staff thinking you've spoken badly to them, just like that, without proof or anything), they'll take them away immediately. I am autistic (ASD) with HYPERSENSITIVITY IN ALL 5 SENSES and AFTER SPENDING TIME AND MORE TIME WITHOUT HAVING A SENSORY PROFILE, THEY DENIED ME THE USE OF MY NOISE-CANCELING HEADPHONES FOR EATING AND ACTIVITIES. This means that these types of times become REAL TORTURE. And of course, the staff's favorite phrase: STOP BEING A FOOL, YOU'RE JUST MAKING IT UP and the second favorite: YOU'RE EXAGGERATING. In other words, the medical staff is messing around in their offices and is dedicated to making fun of the residents instead of treating them. This is how I have gone for 8 years without being diagnosed with a clear case of ARFID! And it took 7 years AND NUMEROUS SPRAINS for my hypermobility to be detected. The physiotherapists and the speech therapist are the only ones who gave this rating a one-star rating, because I didn't even give that to the others. They have a spa, yes, closed since the pandemic. They have a cafeteria, yes, AND WE DON'T EVEN SET FOOT IN THE DISABILITY MODULE. They have a garden, yes, for visitors, and you need permission to go to the garden, and on top of that, at certain times, they keep us separated from the older students as if we were the plague. I heard one assistant tell another "you can't trust them" IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, AS IF WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW. And of course, the classmate of the month is the most sycophantic, not the one who works hard. And on top of that, it's one of the few centers that doesn't have self-management or inter-center activities. It's like an island; in fact, the director threatened to EXPEL me from the FULL INCLUSION program for demanding a place for those of us who were studying, and I HAD TO DROP A PUBLIC EXAM because of it. Finally, there's no proper storage. Okay, it's not possible in the bedrooms, but PUT STORAGE CABINETS, LOCKERS, CLOSETS, SHELVES, OR SOMETHING, it seems like you can't have anything. I had my papers (I'm an artist) IN BOXES ON THE FLOOR, and a silverfish (for those who don't know, it's an insect) came into my home and ate some of my possessions. And what went down to the garage AGAINST MY WILL has all disappeared. My patterns, magazine clippings accumulated FOR YEARS to make collages... In short, the vast majority of residents are begging to leave, and a few of us have already fled. If you have a disability, whatever it may be, and are looking for a place to live and receive quality care, THIS IS NOT THE ONE.

A senior living residence, this is a special place located in a quiet area of Mos. It's very well-equipped, with a social worker, doctors, nurses, and caregivers. I think it's one of the best in Galicia.

My parents stayed for 18 days, temporarily for vacation. They were delighted. The staff was impeccable in their treatment and took total care of both of them. They told me they would love to come back. Thank you very much.

My father, who was completely dependent, received dedicated, genuine, and professional care at Doral, something I cannot say about Bouco, the residence to which we moved him, with a heavy heart, so my mother could visit him every afternoon without having to drive. The result of this change was my father's death from dehydration after being left without food or water for days, with pills in his mouth and a dry tongue from not having any fluids, despite our having warned the staff for days that he looked unwell. That would never have happened at Doral. In fact, when my father died, we had the company of Romi (a nurse at Doral) and Manuel, the director of Doral, but not the staff at Bouco. I want the same level of care for myself and my loved ones as they received at Doral. They are people who are truly dedicated to this work, not just people who take a contract for a paycheck. Thank you for your dedication to our elderly and their families. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

5 stars without a doubt. During my relative's stay in Doral, the treatment and warmth from all the staff was exceptional. They were always attentive, kind, caring, and highly professional. The facilities, cleanliness, gardens, etc., were always impeccably maintained. It was a very comfortable, warm, and pleasant place. An exceptional place, doing very important work.
