Opiniones

I want to make it clear that I've never liked these places, but because of the Alzheimer's disease that killed my mother, I can only say that I never want to have to make the decision to apply for a place in a nursing home again. Otherwise, it was good. Cleanliness, kindness towards the patients, and in my mother's last days they treated us with great respect, allowing us to stay longer, and when she passed away, everything was very proper. As for things I didn't like, I can't say anything. I've read other reviews and I'm baffled by what I read. Thank goodness these places exist when, in my case, I could no longer care for my mother, something I had been doing for almost nine years. She was admitted for forty-six days; we knew she was very frail, and in the end, the terrifying Alzheimer's disease took her. I never saw a bruise, scratch, or any signs of neglect. The progressive decline my mother had upon arrival was another matter entirely, and it only worsened; it couldn't have gotten any better. I've met almost everyone who works there, and I have nothing but gratitude. I can't imagine my mother in what was her home during her final days—a house in the historic center, full of stairs, sweltering heat, and cramped quarters—a veritable prison for people with not only mental health issues but also reduced mobility, like my mother. This could go on forever, but it can't. Ultimately, I'm satisfied. Logic plays tricks on me, but the only truth is that she died surrounded by her loved ones, well cared for, and that's what truly matters. Thank you for everything.

I'm giving it one star so it'll let me comment...because they don't even deserve a comment, what a disappointment. I noticed my mother was unwell...they told me it was normal...the deterioration...well, they even diagnosed her with mini-strokes...what medical school did she get her degree from if she's not even a nursing assistant? I reacted and wanted to take her to the emergency room, and at first they didn't want to send an ambulance...because according to the amazing professionals who work there...nothing was wrong with my mother...when they saw my reaction, that I was going to take her even if it was in a wheelchair, they told me the doctor was coming...and sure enough, when the doctor examined her, she diagnosed sepsis...for the emergency room...IN AN AMBULANCE! When I got to the hospital, they told me my mother had a stage IV ulcer on her sacrum...that you could see the bone...she arrived malnourished...dehydrated...a hole big enough to fit an orange....that's what this COMPANY is, if you can even call it that! My mother is alive because I reacted in time, but she has health issues that could take more than a year to resolve... I could write a novel about it... starting with hygiene... ending with nutrition... plus, I had to call the police to get a complaint form... and the director, knowing who I was, was yelling at me, "IDENTIFY YOURSELF!"... It was laughable... with the lawyer on the phone... whom the police officer silenced.... Anyway... don't give your money to this awful bunch of incompetents. If you want to learn about medicine, one of the employees... who is supposedly in charge, knows about micro-strokes... I won't say more... YOU HAVE DESTROYED A PERSON AND HER FAMILY! WHAT A SHAME! I HOPE THEY SHUT YOU DOWN!

Don't take your grandparents there. My father died alone in a hospital. They weren't even able to stay with him until a relative arrived. They left him there, starved to death. And they completely ignored him. Once they've collected their monthly allowance, they don't care about anything else. The director is inept; she doesn't know how to do her job; she's never at the center—at least that's what they told us when I called to talk to her. In short, it's a total nonsense. Their elders don't deserve this.

I am delighted with them. They take care of all the medical appointments and inform the family members of everything. They always have staff available to accompany us to medical appointments. They make things easier for family members who live away.

I'm giving it one star because I can't give it zero. My grandmother arrived and hasn't even been there a month; she died yesterday, and they left her dead in the room all night while her poor roommate slept next to her. I find it inhumane. I'm just begging you from the bottom of my heart that if you need an emergency care facility, please don't make the same mistake we did.
