Opiniones

As a retired family doctor I have visited hundred of care homes and can say I believe this is a good one. It has always been clean when I have visited. The staff appear friendly and have been alert to the medical needs of the resident I visit. The food is plain but perfectly decent and suited to elderly needs. I realise that when loved ones no longer can be cared for at home the relatives feel guilty, particularly if the person dies shortly after. There is a common tendency to blame the care home, forgetting that frail old people commonly have medical emergencies.

‼️‼️‼️I've been calling the nursing home for 5 days and no one answers; they say their phone is off. I called my grandfather, and his phone is off too. And the last time I was able to speak to him, he was high. WHAT IS GOING ON? HELLO?‼️‼️

Do not take your loved ones to this nursing home. It's poorly managed by its director. There are no qualified staff, nor are there enough people to care for all the elderly there. He does all the cooking himself so he doesn't have to pay anyone else. My father was admitted walking and talking on July 15th, and I took him by ambulance on the 22nd because of his poor condition. He eventually died on July 24th. And when I go to collect my father's belongings, this man refuses to refund me the full amount, since he was only there for seven days and was in poor condition. It's not about the money, but about this man's lack of empathy and dishonesty. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else, and this message helps anyone looking for a nursing home for their loved one.

Please contact me to file a complaint. I've been dealing with this for almost two years, and there are more and more cases. My father was admitted to this care home in good condition on May 24th, and on May 30th, when we visited him after what they called an unannounced visit, we found him in a deplorable state at 10:55 AM. He hadn't even washed or eaten breakfast and was in very bad shape. I immediately told them to call an ambulance, and by 1:10 PM my father was unconscious, and at 1:30 AM he passed away. They sell you the idea of a great care home, but it's not what it seems. No doctors, no rehabilitation, nothing. I went to ask for an explanation, and the worst part is that one of the employees confirmed that this was the situation, that they had my father lying down because he wasn't expecting our visit, and that I should file a complaint. We couldn't believe what had happened. Regarding the money, my father was there for five days and they kept everything, and according to the law and the contract they made us sign, they should return it. I hope and trust that my comments and actions regarding this residence will serve as a warning that you will never put your loved ones there. I won't stop until the truth comes out. And now, seeing that there are more cases like Lucia Mendez's, even fewer. And those who have remained silent. Lucia Mendez, I would like to get in touch with you.

The same thing happened to my grandfather as Lucia Mendez described in her comment. He was admitted in good condition on May 24th, and on May 30th my mother and aunt went to visit him and found him in very bad shape. They called an ambulance, and he passed away that same day.
