My father, who had Alzheimer's, was there years ago, and I witnessed the lack of care. He developed a mouth infection due to poor hygiene, which we, his family, detected. It led to his death. At the time, we didn't take any action so as not to increase my mother's distress.

I can only say good things about this care home and its staff. My mother has been there for several years and they treat her with so much love and care. Thank you all for your dedication and affection; it's not easy leaving a mother in a care home, and even harder to find one that takes such good care of them. I 100% recommend it. It's not easy caring for people with Alzheimer's, and even less so in such a loving way. 🙏💚

Quiero dar las gracias a todos y cada uno de los que forman parte de la residencia la Almudena, a los que después de tres años y medio los considero mi familia. Ver como un familiar en este caso mi padre, es feliz, querido, cuidado, da una tranquilidad que no tiene precio. Las veo como se desviven con cada uno de los residentes, por hacerles mejor la vida, y siempre con una sonrisa en la boca. Solo puedo daros las gracias por hacerles mejor este camino, y a los familiares también. Mi recomendación es de 1.000%. Un enorme abrazo.

I live across the street from the building adjacent to the residence. I've sometimes heard patients complaining all night (depending on their illness) without any interaction from the night shift team to reduce the resident's stress level or situation. The sanitary workers are shouting at each other, and to top it all off, the industrial washing machines don't meet the decibel requirements mandated by law in residential areas. According to their own information, their laundry produces between 64.5 and 69 decibels. Even so, until we spoke up, they kept running the dryer in the early morning hours, disregarding their neighbors and the residents themselves, who live near the area where the laundry room's air vent opens, generating the noise.
