Opiniones

    It's a very clean space.

My mother was in the Colmenarejo residence and is no longer here because she left us at 92 years old, surrounded by love from all the staff, very clean, always hydrated and when we went to see her they treated us with great affection. The director Irene is one of the kindest and most efficient people I have ever met. Let it be known that I am not a relative, I am a daughter who has had her mother cared for by people with big hearts from the first to the last. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Absolutely professional in caring for our mother. Special mention goes to Irene, the director, Borja, and Geno, the center manager. They provide a lot of care and pampering for the elderly, who deserve it. A perfect 10.

If I could, I'd give it zero stars. My uncle was there for several years, and we had to move him. They have very little staff to care for the residents, and on top of that, they aren't motivated enough. Some real examples of situations that have occurred: - Once, during a visit outside of our usual visiting days, my uncle was asleep and lethargic, something that hadn't happened before. We rushed him to the hospital thinking he was sick, but they told us there was nothing wrong with him, just a cold, and sent him home. - On several occasions, also outside of our regular visiting hours, we went to the residence, and at 11:00 AM he was still in bed, or at 6:00 PM he was still napping. I don't have proof, because if I did, we would have reported them, but I'm convinced they were giving him drops to make him sleep longer. In recent months, he started telling us that the caregivers were making his life miserable. We tried talking to them, and they said my uncle was suffering from dementia. They never took responsibility for anything that had happened, but the situation worried us, so we decided to move him. Although I have no evidence that he was sedated unnecessarily, since we moved him, my uncle hasn't had any more episodes of drowsiness or lethargy, he's been sick far less often, and he's happy and fully lucid. I can also confirm that in one of the meetings we had with the owner, she called one of the employees a "retard" (her exact words) in front of me. I could give many more details and explanations, as the experience with them has been very negative, but I can summarize by saying that I wouldn't leave any of my family members in their hands. They are unprofessional and don't treat the elderly well.

Thank you so much for taking such good care of my grandmother. She was always very well looked after until the very end, as I know. It's a very family-oriented residence. The management is very involved. The service is very personal. Thank you all.
