Opiniones

This care home was recommended to me. My mother has been there for a month. I congratulate the director and the professionals who care for our elderly residents.

They say the foundation is governed by the Board of Trustees, whose honorary presidency is held by the provincial of the Religious of the Assumption, but either that's a lie and they aren't religious or they don't adhere to the Catholic faith. They have no heart; they treat the elderly like old furniture, which when it's not in their interest, they just throw out in the middle of the street. My father was at the Sagrada Familia Foundation on Nieto Street. He entered with a medical diagnosis and medication, which he has never received, and they expelled him under the same circumstances, without any prior warning. In fact, whenever he asked, my father behaved in an exemplary and calm manner. A residence run by a director where he works part-time, free from potential problems. There's a lack of staff; 24 residents are left in the lounge with no one to look after them, there are constant fights between residents, and my father was attacked by another resident, resulting in a broken hip. At the time, he was in the common room, and no one was caring for the elderly. At night, there was even less surveillance; if they needed anything, they didn't show up. They say the doctor comes every day, but they don't keep track of each resident. They didn't monitor my father's health for 22 months. After the terrible time my 85-year-old father went through with the expulsion, he cried like a child. We begged them, and they didn't even give us an audience. But I have to say that my father is currently happy in the new residence; we've realized how neglected he was before.

It's one of the best residences in the area. The residents are very well cared for at all times. The food is superb, homemade, and made with fresh ingredients. The residents are delighted with the care they receive.
