Spoiler alert! This isn't a nursing home, it's a home full of love!!! I always thought a nursing home could never provide the love and attention grandparents deserve. But all that changed when we learned about this center and saw how they cared for our Grandma Loli. Tamara, Adriana, Fredi, Nieves, Fernando, Génesis, Isabel... I have no words to thank you for what you've done for her and for us. From the WhatsApp messages, the photos, the videos, telling us how she was, to letting us stop by at any time so we could be with her, we always felt accompanied and cared for. Grandma, a real coquette, has always been impeccable: with her clean, well-dyed hair, her polished nails, her face cream, and her tiara on. But the most important thing wasn't that, but the genuine love you gave her, the kisses, the attention, and the endless patience in her final years. On the day of the funeral home, when we saw you coming to say goodbye to her, our hearts sank. And we confirmed what we already knew: what she received here was something unique: sincere, humane, and loving treatment. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything.

A family for Loly, “Grandma”... and for us too My grandmother has been at the Guadarrama Residence since February 2020, and I can confidently say that it has been one of the best decisions we have made as a family. This place is much more than a residence. It is a space full of human warmth, respect, dignity, and true love. A love that money cannot buy, and that in these times has become a true treasure. In a country where the abandonment of the elderly is, sadly, increasingly common, having had this residence nearby for five years has been an immense privilege. Here, my grandmother has not only been cared for: she has been deeply loved. She has literally received more kisses, hugs, and smiles than our family gave her before she arrived. And we will never forget that. We live in an increasingly individualistic society, where we often try to compensate for our absence by offering our elders what we believe to be the best: luxurious residences, great facilities, and sophisticated services. But the reality is that luxury isn't always the most important thing. In this smaller residence, with a limited number of residents, an excellent staff ratio is maintained, allowing for something that many large residences have lost: caring and truly personalized treatment. And for middle-class families or those with limited resources, like ours, we can say without hesitation that there is no better option than this residence. The relationship between quality, price, and love is simply unbeatable. At first, I was especially concerned about the food. My grandmother was an exceptional cook; her paellas and stews were famous at home, and I thought it would be difficult to please her in that regard. But I was wrong. She never complained about the food. On the contrary, she ate everything with gusto. For us, that was a clear sign that she was really well. From our first visit, Director Fernando gave us three key points for evaluating any nursing home: 1. It should never smell bad. 2. The elderly should always be well-groomed. 3. Visitors should be allowed at mealtimes. Three simple, yet essential things. And for more than five years, they have been fulfilled without exception. That conversation was what made me choose this place, and today I confirm it was the right decision. During the toughest times, especially during the pandemic, we never lacked information or closeness. While we saw desperate families on the news, having no news about their elders, we were privileged: we received daily calls from Tamara, Adriana, Fernando, Nieves… and constant messages informing us of our grandmother's condition. There were never any restrictions on visiting her, and they even offered us the facilities to work remotely while we were with her. The staff not only care: they accompany, hug, smile, and dignify. We've seen many residents pass through over the years, and all have been treated with the same love, respect, and humanity. This speaks to a culture of care that goes far beyond the norm. Today, my grandmother has a new family. And so do we. We can only be thankful. If you're looking for a nursing home where your loved one is treated with humanity, respect, and a lot of love, look no further. You'll find it here. Tamara, Adriana, Nieves, and all the nursing home staff: I can't find enough words to express our deep gratitude for everything you've done for Grandma and our family. We know your work isn't easy, that it requires a special vocation and a huge heart, and you do it with a dedication and love that make all the difference. Thank you for caring, supporting, and giving love in every gesture. I sincerely believe that people like you have earned heaven.

Taking your loved one to a care home is a very difficult experience, but I want to thank the entire team (Nieves, Tamara, Fernando, Adriana, Frédi, Yanelis, Caridad, Mónica, Ana, and everyone else) for the love and care they have always shown my mother and me. You have been a part of the hardest part of our lives and have made it much easier. Thank you all so much for your love, dedication, understanding, and care.
