En 1994 se compra un nuevo solar en la zona de Puerta de Hierro, calle Isidro Dompablo 10, y se edifica una residencia para 36 personas, diseñada por un joven arquitecto que se inauguró dos años después. Ante la demanda cada día mayor de acoger a enfermos con Alzheimer en 2008 se abrió un añadido para 10 personas.

La Residencia Fundación Sagrada Familia Puerta de Hierro destaca por la excelente calidad de atención al residente, con un equipo profesional y cariñoso que proporciona cuidados de alto nivel, instalaciones limpias y comida de calidad en un ambiente acogedor con pocos residentes. Sin embargo, existe una crítica importante respecto a la gestión directiva, donde se señalan problemas en el comportamiento del director hacia el personal, lo que contrasta negativamente con el desempeño excepcional del equipo de cuidadores.

I'm related to a resident and I find the current director's behavior towards the staff appalling. They are very professional in how they care for and treat the residents, but people like her shouldn't be in that position. A 10 out of 10 for the staff.

They cared for my father for three years with great affection and professionalism. He was always well looked after, the food was excellent, the treatment was caring, the attention was also given to family members, the medical service and the staff and equipment resources made his life happier.

Excellent residence; my mother is currently there, where my father-in-law lived for several years. It's exceptionally clean, the staff are excellent, caring, attentive, and very welcoming. There are fewer than 30 residents, and I highly recommend it.
