Don't be fooled by "very nice words" and disappointing facts. I do not recommend this residence to anyone with a dependent relative. My mother lived here, and while she was independent and we supplemented her diet, the situation was acceptable. However, the real problem arose when she became dependent and, later, totally dependent. It was at that point that all the center's shortcomings became apparent. I had to confront the care staff on several occasions and file constant complaints with management, without obtaining any real solutions. The only comment from management was that "if I wasn't satisfied, I should take her to another residence." The situation reached such a point that I had already reserved a place for her in another center to move her in January. Unfortunately, we didn't make it in time: my mother passed away two months ago as a result of complications from a fall caused by one of the many instances of negligence that occur daily, both with her and with other residents, which I witnessed. If you are looking for a safe place for a relative who needs constant care, look elsewhere. The lack of professional care in cases of total dependency is alarming. It is deplorable that they are using the years my mother spent there to evade their responsibility for the lack of care during her period of dependency. I did not receive condolences from the administration in person, which doesn't surprise me given their attitude toward my complaints. The years of her stay do not justify the final neglect my mother suffered.

Our experience at the El Moral Residence was completely satisfactory. They are very professional and took the utmost care of our loved one during his stay there. He was perfectly looked after at all times. We really liked the personalized treatment they provide each resident and their family, as well as the care they always provide, both medical and hygienic. Being a small residence, everything is very family-friendly and closely monitored. The surroundings are also very peaceful, surrounded by nature. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable! Something that is sometimes difficult in this type of senior center. We definitely recommend this residence.

Poorly prepared food, understaffed and overcrowded, plus the person who served us lied to protect himself when the situation was obvious. That's my experience.
