A terrible experience. I would not recommend this care home to anyone. I agree with a previous comment about the management, the poor administration, and the awful staff. My father entered the care home on February 6, 2024, in a deteriorating state, but still walking, with a good appetite, and talking. On March 6, he was admitted to the hospital completely dehydrated and passed away on March 9. At the hospital, we discovered he had numerous infected and open pressure ulcers, stage 2, which no one at the care home had informed us about, despite our repeated conversations with the director and the doctor about my father's health and his rapid decline since entering the facility. They weren't even able to offer their condolences. In the short month he was at the care home, his decline was precipitous; he stopped walking and talking, kept his eyes closed all the time, and stopped eating. In addition to bruises and a blow to the mouth with a very swollen upper lip, which I believe accelerated her decline, there were conflicting accounts. A family member was told it was herpes, and I was told it was from hitting her head on a sofa. I requested access to the medical records of the visits made by the nursing home doctor, but they were denied. I'm sure this isn't the only case of negligence that has occurred, given the treatment received and the constant defensiveness of the management when you inquire about your loved one.

I do not recommend this nursing home to anyone. They completely ignore the elderly residents, keeping them sitting in a room all day without moving or doing anything. They only move them to eat, and when they need to use the bathroom, they tell them to do it themselves instead of taking them. I've seen many nursing homes, but this is the worst I've seen in Madrid. Some of the residents are ill, and instead of helping them, they ignore them and harm them. If you're looking for a place where you want your elderly relatives to be comfortable, no matter how cheap this nursing home is, this isn't it. Don't be guided by the low price; cheap things often end up costing more. I suggest you file complaints with the government so they close this nursing home—if you can even call it that—immediately. Oh, and I forgot to mention, the rooms smell bad. Thank you.

It's shameful. We left after visiting our elderly relative and there's only one person downstairs in the kitchen, and that same person goes out to change a diaper and then goes back to the kitchen, of course without changing the pants, which are soaked with urine. There's only that one person (who does a lot, poor thing) and the owner, who is also elderly, looking after the elderly.

I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less. The lack of empathy from the management and staff towards the residents and their families is appalling. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to be mistreated and ignored by those in charge of this "residence."
