Opiniones

I wanted to share my experience with others who might be in the same situation so they don't go through the same thing. I'm looking for a care home for my mother who has Alzheimer's. I contacted an association to help me find one because she needs a specific type of care home, and they offered me this one on Pablo Neruda Street. They contacted me, I explained my situation with my mother, and they told me they had a place for her, not to worry. I sent them everything they asked for, even new reports that I have to go and request. If it weren't for me calling them, they wouldn't even answer, just saying they were sorry but they couldn't care for her. After wasting our time, they abandoned us with a tremendous lack of empathy, and only because I called them; otherwise, we're still waiting. I do not recommend this care home.

I would like to thank the entire team at the Pablo Neruda Residence for their kindness and support from the very beginning, helping us with the arrival of my grandfather Raimundo and all my family members. Congratulations to the entire team, from the reception desk, doctors, nurses, and assistants. Likewise, social worker Laura and the management team have supported and assisted us throughout the entire process. The food is exquisite. Despite the initial impression that the residence seems dated, thanks to everyone's dedicated work, we believe we made the right decision.

I can only say that my family member stayed there for a few months, and the staff and the entire team were very helpful. They were always available to meet our needs and answer our questions. The food was also very good. I encourage them to continue their work for the elderly, as they are the ones who need the most care.

Three months after losing my grandmother, I feel it's the right time to leave a review. If you have an elderly relative who needs constant attention, rehabilitation, or special care, I strongly advise against taking them to this facility. My grandmother's condition deteriorated significantly after she was admitted. The last time I visited, she was unresponsive and in critical condition. When we tried to express our concern, we were told that it wasn't necessary to call a doctor and that it was normal. We had to call an emergency doctor, who, upon arrival, decided to send her directly to the hospital. It's heartbreaking to see this happen. My grandmother arrived in much better condition, and after a month, her health declined dramatically. Sadly, I believe this facility does not provide adequate care. If you value the health and well-being of your loved ones, I suggest you explore other options.

Thank you for the love and support my brother has received since he was admitted, starting with Carmen, Félix, Laura (cleaning staff), and Milagros Bayón.
