El Centro de día Orpea Estremera recibe opiniones muy polarizadas: mientras que la mayoría de usuarios elogia el trato humano, la profesionalidad del personal y la calidad de la atención diaria, existen críticas graves sobre negligencias médicas y retrasos en la atención psiquiátrica que han afectado seriamente a algunos residentes. Las experiencias positivas destacan la dedicación del equipo y la comunicación fluida con las familias, pero los casos negativos documentados sugieren posibles deficiencias en la supervisión médica y en la urgencia de ciertas intervenciones sanitarias.

It took me five years to recover from what I went through, although we'll never get over it... In 2017, my grandfather had been in this nursing home for a month when he died due to negligence. The doctors back then weren't doctors, and they hurt him. They didn't take him to the hospital in time, and at the last minute, they lied, saying they had taken him to the hospital, and my grandfather didn't even get into the ambulance. I think God will bring justice, and everyone involved will pay for what they've done. May they not go unpunished.

The first few weeks went well; the staff were kind, and the psychologist was incredibly attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, in recent weeks our family member has been suffering from severe depression, likely a consequence of the illness. The problem is that they scheduled an appointment with the psychiatrist for two weeks from now to review his medication, and then, when the two weeks were up, they postponed it for another two weeks. He urgently needs help, and either the staff here are powerless, or those who could be doing something aren't lifting a finger to expedite the process of getting his medication reviewed. It's a shame because things were going so well.

My husband has been going for more than a year and I am happy, not the following. The entire staff is lovely and they take great care of them, I am always aware of what they are doing, they always inform me. The nurses, assistants and other staff are very friendly, especially I have to mention Loli, she is a charming woman. Thank you all for being who you are.

My grandmother is there, and everything is going great. She's happy and content, and so are we! We were a little scared for her at first, but everything has gone great. Everyone who works there is super professional.

The Community of Madrid assigned this residence to my father almost two years ago. The humane and professional treatment the residents receive there is excellent. There's always room for improvement, of course, but I think we'll stay there, hopefully for a long time, even if it's a bit far from our home.
