My mother was admitted there when nothing more could be done to cure her illness, and they not only gave her the best medical care to alleviate her pain, but also the best human support. My mother was very active, and they have activities there from Monday to Friday, keeping them entertained and allowing them to socialize. They also have a psychological support team, and the chaplain visits patients daily who wish to see him; it's important to attend to their emotional and spiritual needs during those times. Something that impressed me was the care they take with the food. My mother had trouble eating, and they adapt the menu, which is also very good, so that she can eat. They have a cafeteria and gardens for walks, which also helps. Since you have to go through this difficult time, it's much more bearable here, and we, the family, are at ease knowing how well they care for the residents.

It would have to be a 10/10! Words cannot express how grateful our entire family is to the medical team (Dr. Yolanda), nurses, assistants, volunteers, psychologists, priests, receptionists, and restaurant staff. Our mother spent her last 28 days hospitalized, and if it weren't for the exceptional professional and compassionate care we received throughout her ordeal, it wouldn't have been possible. It made the experience much more bearable for both her and all of us, allowing us to be with her 24/7. The facilities are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The Masses, concerts, and recreational activities are wonderful. But above all, it's the empathy and care with which they treat you that truly stands out. A million thanks!! I'm very happy with the work done at the center with my grandfather regarding the activities. Everything was done in a cheerful atmosphere. However, as in many places, there are some things that leave much to be desired. In his last days, we found some medications lying on the floor, even though he was a dependent person who needed to be given them. He had either tasted them or defecated on them and they hadn't been changed. It's understandable that this is the fault of one or two staff members. The vast majority of the staff were very caring, and we only have positive feedback.

On behalf of my entire family, I want to express our sincere gratitude for the care, compassion, and professionalism with which my father (Eustasio Gutiérrez) was treated during his stay at this hospital. I want to give special mention to Dr. Puerta, whose warmth, clarity, sensitivity, and dedication were a fundamental support to me during a particularly difficult time. Her way of accompanying, explaining, and caring for me instilled confidence and serenity, and helped me face the process with greater peace of mind. I also want to thank Dr. Ana and Nurse Almudena, who were the last to attend to him, providing impeccable care and instilling great confidence in us. This gratitude extends to all the staff at Hospital Laguna, both medical and non-medical: doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and support staff, whose daily work and compassion ensured that our father was treated with dignity, respect, and care at all times. I cannot forget the group of volunteers who had direct contact with him and Father Javier. In such delicate circumstances, one understands that true quality of care is measured not only in treatments, but also in the way one is supported. For this reason, we will always remember Hospital Laguna with a profound sense of gratitude. Please accept our sincerest thanks.

It's difficult to express in words how grateful my daughter and I are for all the care you have provided to our beloved father, partner, and friend, Maxi. These past five months have been filled with every emotion and need, and you have been there for Maxi and for us. Thank you for every coffee made with such care, for the warm welcome at reception, and for the spiritual peace the chaplain has offered us. Thank you to the volunteers who have been with us every step of the way; their work is invaluable and speaks volumes about their profound humanity. Thank you to the cleaning staff who always had a kind word, to all the student interns who filled us with joy with their zest for life, and to each and every one of the caregivers who dealt with our anxieties on the front lines and helped make Maxi as comfortable as possible. Thank you to the nurses; your professionalism and compassion know no bounds. Thank you to the doctors who understood Maxi's needs at every moment and spared no effort to ensure he passed away peacefully and without suffering. Thank you also for grounding us in reality with love, patience, and empathy. And, above all, thank you to the team of psychologists and social workers. Our fears seemed insurmountable, but you made them seem smaller. You prepared the three of us to face that difficult part of life: death. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team. When you welcomed us, you told us we were part of your family, and that's exactly how we felt. In his final moments, a nurse told us that everyone dies as they have lived, and that's how it was. Maxi passed away surrounded by love and in peace. We give thanks every day for having been able to share something so painful yet so beautiful with you. Signed: Maxi's family. Room 109.
