I cannot be more grateful for all the love and attention you had for my father Antonio Méndez, all the staff of the center, the workers on his floor, especially Carmen and Noelia, Marta from nursing, Olga from cleaning, Julio and Paula from reception, and of course Romina and Marta. My grandfather was a resident for over four years, and the overall experience was very positive. The facilities are excellent, but the best thing is undoubtedly the staff. Communication with all the staff was always very smooth; they are very approachable and strive to find solutions to any problems that may arise. They offered a wide variety of group activities, including a small vegetable garden. As soon as the state of emergency began, they quickly contacted us to suggest video calls so we could continue "seeing" each other, which was very positive for everyone, but especially for those who, like my grandfather, had cognitive impairment. The video calls continued until each family decided to discontinue them, and we could even combine them with in-person visits. As the end approached, they allowed us to spend more time with him, making an exception to adapt the visits to our schedules and facilitating things in every way they could. Many thanks to the entire team. Thank you for the great work you do, for your kindness, compassion, and empathy. I'm left with the feeling that I was in the best hands.

To all the staff at "A Veiga" from Manuel López Ferreiro's family: You have been a part of a difficult time in our lives. Each of you provided the necessary understanding and tolerance regarding his serious illness, ensuring that Manuel felt comfortable during his nine years there, making our suffering more bearable. For all of this, please know that Manuel's family loves you. The center is located in a sunny, natural setting, away from the noise but with all amenities nearby. It has ample parking, a cafeteria, an interior garden, a vegetable patch, etc. The spaces are generally large and bright. They were very comfortable for both the resident and his visitors. The interior access points are designed for easy movement for people with reduced mobility. Regarding the COVID management: it was impeccable. The families were kept informed at all times about the situation at the residence, with routine checks and rigorously implemented measures. *** Eternally grateful, the family of Manuel López Ferreiro.
