La Residència de la Fundació Agropecuària de Guissona recibe opiniones muy polarizadas: mientras algunos usuarios elobian el equipo de rehabilitación, las instalaciones limpias y la atención dedicada del personal, otros reportan deficiencias graves en control de protocolos, higiene durante la pandemia y, especialmente, una comunicación inadecuada en situaciones críticas de fin de vida. Aunque algunos consideran que "obtienes lo que pagas", las críticas sobre falta de supervisión y negligencia en momentos cruciales generan preocupación sobre la consistencia en la calidad de la atención

After 3 years since my grandmother died, I write as objectively as I can: my grandmother was there for more than 10 years. In general terms, we were satisfied expecting some situation such as arriving one day and finding her wet including the chair and being told that they would change it after lunch… what leaves me with a very bad aftertaste is with her end-of-life situation, to summarize; it was the Covid era where, by regulation, only those who were at the end of their lives could enter the residence to visit them. One Monday, the nurse called us to say that my grandmother had been in bed since Friday and that she was not improving, to go see her but not to rush because it was the same today as tomorrow. They must have forgotten that I work in residences and that I knew the protocols very well so I told her to go there quickly because she was dying. When we arrived she was no longer conscious. You are a bunch of unpresentable people, you should have warned her on Friday that you were leaving her, we couldn't say goodbye to anyone but her granddaughter and daughter. I don't recommend it at all, for all that.

We are having a very, very bad experience... Lack of control on the Covid issue, carelessness when it comes to controlling the clothing of my father and mother, problems with visiting reservations, in short, very, very poor control, as soon as we found another residence we took my parents away... luckily, according to one of the assistants, they took the issue of my parents as something personal with the total involvement of the director... I can summarize it as

Today I'm going to review the rehabilitation team. They have six staff members working in the ICS (Integrated Care Center) and four in the residential care facility. The facilities are clean, the rooms are well-adapted, and they have excellent equipment for working on all areas of the body. The staff are very attentive, kind, and concerned about their patients. They work with the public healthcare system and also see private patients.
