La residencia "Virgen del Castro" destaca por la calidad excepcional de su atención y el trato afectuoso de su personal hacia los residentes, siendo especialmente valorada por su transparencia, limpieza, entorno tranquilo y comida casera de calidad. Los usuarios expresan gratitud por el profesionalismo y la dedicación del equipo, que se esfuerza por hacer que la transición de los mayores sea lo menos traumática posible, aunque algunos visitantes ocasionales tienen opiniones más limitadas al no conocer todos los servicios en profundidad.

As we all know, half of the Valduerna region was evacuated from their homes due to the massive fire, including a small nursing home in Castrotierra, where 40 elderly residents had to leave their homes (separated). The nursing home director and staff fought tirelessly to prevent the separation, but to no avail (bureaucracy prevailed). I want to express my gratitude to all the staff at the nursing home for their professionalism and the care they show to "their grandparents." That affection and tenderness is truly appreciated. We had a serious problem with my father's illness and didn't know how to care for him. We had been looking for a solution for some time, but we couldn't find one. Fortunately, we found the Virgen del Castro Residence and discovered a charming place, with staff accustomed to dealing with sick elderly people. It's quiet, surrounded by nature, clean, and welcoming, and offers simple, good, home-cooked food. From the very beginning, we felt supported and advised on all the necessary steps (which were quite a few), and they ensured that my father's admission wasn't as traumatic as we expected. Both the management and the entire staff have been very kind to us, and above all, we have seen the affection with which they welcomed my father. Their way of operating is completely transparent; we can visit whenever we want and without prior notice, which is a guarantee. They inform us of all the situations that arise and are very prompt in all the arrangements. Although it's not easy dealing with a man like my father, we believe we made a good choice and that he will be very well cared for. Thank you for everything, Ramón, Loli, and the entire team.

I visited the nursing home a few months ago and felt sorry for the grandparents' situation, but I visited again a week ago and with the new owners, it's a pleasure. The grandparents are well-groomed, the entire nursing home smells good, and when I spoke to the grandparents, they were happy. My congratulations to the new owners and I hope you continue to make our seniors happy; they deserve it.

We went to visit my wife's grandmother. The treatment was good, and she's happy, although her wife doesn't complain about anything. They have a large patio where they can walk and sit. I don't know about the rest; I'm not from the area and don't come here often.
