My mother only stayed 15 days in Piedras Blancas and was very happy. She said the food was delicious and the people very friendly. I was very satisfied with the service. They made the check-in and check-out process incredibly easy. The fantastic garden and the warmth of everyone who works there were truly special. During those days, we felt like part of a big family.

SENIOR RESIDENCE (CARBAJAL DE LA LEGUA) Family-run residence. Spacious areas. Order and cleanliness. Different rooms for different activities. Outdoor garden with seating and well-maintained. Covered outdoor terrace. Attentive and caring caregivers. Enclosed premises with security measures for the well-being of our loved ones. The food, as you know, is light and easy; some residents have swallowing difficulties, etc. These centers do a great job providing care when it can't be done properly at home and the family lacks the resources or qualifications. But it should be the last resort! Even so, let's be grateful that they exist. It's a sad and depressing environment for those who still retain their mental faculties. I've read some negative reviews of Piedras Blancas that I think are poorly written; they seem like they're talking about a completely different place. The residence I know and frequent is a perfect place to live when it's impossible to do so at home. You only have to see the residents' faces. They are very well cared for, the meals are homemade, the cleanliness is top-notch, and the facilities are modern. It's a very pleasant place. Attentive, helpful, friendly, caring, and efficient. My husband and I spent four days there for a recovery, and it was a great experience. We were very happy with the service. I highly recommend them. Oh, and my name is Maite. I'll come visit you as promised.

They paint a pretty picture, but... nothing is as it seems. The care for residents is terrible, and it's even worse when we're treated as family members. They withhold information and won't even let us see their room. 0/10 recommended
