Opiniones

They're selling it as a hotel, and it's true that the facilities are good, the reception is wonderful. If you reach old age alone, with money and in good health, I have no doubt you'll be comfortable. But if you're a Level 3 dependent, disabled, and referred to public care, it's preferable to be placed in a kennel. Leaving a person with no mobility and dementia in bed, with the room key locked, with a glass of water on the table—which they know perfectly well they can't reach and don't even know is there—is inhumane. In a week, they'll have another place, which they won't give a damn about, so they can continue to have their percentage of public funds in their bottom line.

We had my grandmother for three years, and I wouldn't hesitate to trust the entire nursing home staff again. Exceptional service across the board.

The social worker and assistants were wonderful. But I wouldn't recommend it at all; please don't make the mistake of leaving a loved one there. Everything seems fine to the outside world, but behind closed doors it leaves much to be desired, and I say this with real experience. Anyone who wants more details can contact me.

My uncle was there for two weeks. Damn the day we decided to put him up there.

I can't visit my mother as often as I'd like. I take comfort in knowing she's in good hands and that they provide all kinds of support whenever I need it. The best part is that my mother is happy, after more than two years, that she chose to go there.
