La Residencia Saturnino López Novoa recibe críticas abrumadoramente negativas respecto al trato hacia los residentes y sus familias, con denuncias de maltrato, negligencia en la higiene y cuidados básicos, así como una actitud defensiva y poco empática del personal. Aunque se destaca positivamente su decoración navideña, esto resulta insignificante frente a las graves preocupaciones sobre la calidad asistencial, la seguridad de los residentes y el bienestar general en la residencia.

I've only been looking at the nativity scene they have set up. It's simply enormous and spectacular. Plus, there's a narration and they tell the story of Jesus.

In this care home, the elderly residents (the nuns) are mistreated—I'm not referring to the staff—with authority figures and threats that if they leave, they'll never be allowed back in, and other even worse things. I do not recommend it. Look for another care home for your loved ones. During the pandemic, they didn't separate residents until the outbreak was quite advanced.

Terrible treatment of residents. Cleaning is poor, and the elderly are treated very poorly. The bedding is yellow instead of white. The resident is stained, poorly shaved, and very unkempt.

The worst nursing home ever. My father was there for several months, and I only wish I could have moved him sooner, but the experience couldn't have been worse. The treatment of family members was appalling, and the care of the elderly residents is beyond words. I'm not even going to describe it all, but he suffered falls (without any warning to the family), malnutrition, dehydration, and several other terrible incidents. When you asked for explanations, the nuns and the doctor always gave the same answer: "If you don't like it, find another nursing home." So, if this review helps someone change their mind and take their loved one to another place, I'll be satisfied. Please take my advice and don't leave your family members there.

It's a complete nonsense from the person who answers the phone and is at the reception desk. Very little empathy, little kindness, and little interest make you want to run away from the residence because if this is the entrance, what will the rest be like? They think it's theirs. To work in a religious center with this type of guests, you have to be more friendly. On the other hand, I don't think they have any control over it because if they do that...!!! Can someone give me some references about the treatment of residents?
