El Centro Residencial Virgen del Carmen recibe opiniones muy divididas que reflejan una inconsistencia notable en la calidad de la atención: mientras algunos usuarios elogian ampliamente la dedicación del personal, la limpieza y la organización general del centro, otros denuncian graves fallos en la atención médica y de enfermería que han tenido consecuencias devastadoras para sus familiares. Esta disparidad sugiere que, aunque el centro cuenta con staff profesional y compasivo en algunas áreas, existen problemas serios de supervisión médica y cuidados de salud que requieren mejora urgente.

Five-star residence. From the day it opened, it has been an exemplary residence. They take excellent care of their residents. Housekeepers, assistants, director, nurses, etc... All the staff are wonderful. The residence itself is very welcoming, always clean and tidy. During the COVID lockdown, they were very well organized and followed all the protocols.

Unfortunately, I have very bad memories of her. Aside from the attention and kindness of the social workers... the medical and healthcare staff were appalling. My mother was only hospitalized for 12 days. She was admitted to Santa Ana Hospital with severe dehydration and bedsores filled with bacteria. Today, after two months, my mother has passed away. During this time, we witnessed the suffering she endured. She was the person we loved most in this life. They denied her hydration during one of my visits (just the day before taking her to the hospital), despite the deplorable state I found her in. They told me her bedsores were under control and that surgeons had to intervene. And everyone told me she was under control—the doctor and the head nurse. I hope her parents receive the same care mine received. My mother is now at rest. But I wouldn't wish the suffering of these two months on any grandparent or family member. I will never forgive you. Fortunately, she was surrounded by professionals and much love in her final moments.

A disaster, understaffed. A lot of paperwork and medical reports that the nursing home doctor then ignores. A lot of fine words, then a scam. It has a reputation for being a good nursing home, don't believe it. A disappointment that has cost us dearly.

Staff who love their work: residents are very well cared for. Everything is very well organized and clean. Highly professional and compassionate specialists. They treat the residents with kindness and utmost respect. I give them top marks, and I thank them for everything they do.

Luckily and unluckily, my mother is a resident there. It's the devastating blow that Alzheimer's deals. I'm grateful to the Andalusian Regional Government for promoting and maintaining places like this. Very clean and beautiful, considering the nature of the center. The staff is 100% professional and, above all, compassionate. I'd like to name them all, but in the month my mother has been there, I haven't been able to remember everyone's names. Ana, the Director, gave us a welcome on that first day that even your best friend couldn't match. Thank you, Ana. What can I say about Toñi, the social worker? A true professional and incredibly kind. Friendly and pleasant. Thank you, Toñi! Carmen, the housekeeper, is friendly and compassionate. Thank you, Carmen. Vanesa at reception, ladies. Beautiful, friendly, and very good with the elderly. The rest of you will have to forgive me. I recognize your faces, but I can't quite place you by name. We'll talk about you later. I know for a fact that my mother is in the best hands she could possibly be in. Therefore, I reiterate my complete admiration for the center and the staff.
