L’any 1992 es va inaugurar la Residència Pi i Sunyer , concretament el dia 23 de març va ingressar el primer resident i a partir d'aquí, progressivament es varen anar ocupant les 112 places autoritzades, a data d’avui comptem amb 138 places de residència.

La Residència Pi i Sunyer recibe principalmente evaluaciones muy positivas destacando la dedicación, amabilidad y cuidado del equipo de enfermería y cuidadores, así como el ambiente de camaradería que proporciona a los residentes. Sin embargo, hay reportes preocupantes sobre problemas graves en la atención nocturna y la respuesta ante emergencias, incluyendo demoras significativas en contestar llamadas de auxilio y fallos en la seguridad de las instalaciones.

I am at peace and happy with the care my parents are receiving. I am grateful to the team and their daily efforts in taking such good care of the elderly. From reception and accounting to nursing, the psychologists, and the caregivers, who are true heroes, everyone has been wonderful. They have the superpower to brighten my parents' lives every day. A very good nursing home. The nurses are very kind. There's a great sense of camaraderie and care for the patients. I mention this because I did my clinical rotations there and saw everything they do. And they do it with so much love.

It's 11:29 PM and I could keep waiting for someone to appear at my bungalow door and answer my emergency call button. I called at 10:00 PM...at 10:05 PM...and at 10:10 PM. And it's not the first time this has happened. On the 12th, I used the internal phone at 9:30 PM to report a security issue (access gates to the complex were wide open)...and nobody answered.

Do you know why they put this nursing home right next to the cemetery? Because that way, when they die, they can be taken directly to the funeral home.
