La Residència Mar i Sol recibe opiniones extremadamente negativas de la mayoría de usuarios, quienes denuncian prácticas poco éticas como cobros rápidos pero retrasos injustificados en devoluciones de dinero, abandono de residentes y falta de transparencia en la gestión. Aunque existe una reseña positiva que destaca la calidad de cuidados, las críticas generalizadas sobre falta de profesionalismo, humanidad y problemas administrativos graves superan ampliamente cualquier aspecto positivo, generando una percepción de desconfianza significativa hacia la residencia.

Mar i Sol Residence and Day Center = SHAME. They were incredibly quick to collect payment, but when it came time to take responsibility for my grandfather, they washed their hands of the matter, saying by email that they couldn't care for him. The worst part was getting the money back turned into a nightmare: weeks of emails, excuses, and delays until they finally did. This center advertises itself as a place of care and support for the elderly, but in reality, all they care about is money. A complete lack of humanity, zero professionalism, and disrespectful treatment of families. I not only DO NOT recommend it, but I warn anyone who values their loved ones to stay far away.

The situation at the Mar i Sol residence in Sant Antoni de Calonge is an absolute SCANDAL. They collect payment incredibly quickly, but when it comes to taking responsibility for the elderly, they hide behind shameful excuses. They completely abandoned my grandfather, demonstrating a total lack of humanity. And getting the money back was an ordeal: weeks of emails, delays, and obstacles until they finally refunded it. A place that should be trustworthy for families, but in reality, it proves to be the complete opposite: unethical, unprofessional, and with an appalling treatment of the elderly. I recommend everyone stay far, far away from here.

My "adopted mother" and my mother's best friend entered the Mar i Sol residence in St. Antoni de Calonge in October of last year, after we had been taking care of her for the last few years at her home. She paid €2000 in advance for a completely outdated single room. They told us that they were renovating the residence, but we only saw the corridors being painted. She was admitted to the hospital on December 31st and died on New Year's Eve. As if we didn't already have enough grief, we had to spend months claiming the month paid in advance and the only thing the management did was to give up and pass the ball from one to the other so that they would never end up paying and pocket the money without putting it in the contract... As you can understand, we have lost trust in this residence and we just hope that it doesn't happen to anyone else because it is sad enough to lose a loved one, to be deceived in this way...

I loved this nursing home. It's a shame my father wanted to move to another one in his hometown. He's already regretting it! Thanks to everyone.

I took my mother out because I saw some aspects that could be greatly improved, but nobody was able to tell us that the desired improvements would be implemented in a few months; I suppose they had a waiting list.
