A spectacular building with a history spanning over 800 years. The church is beautiful and very well preserved. They have authentic treasures that are well worth seeing. We were very grateful for the explanations that the Hospital Director, Francisco, gave us about many details of the Hospital and its history. Highly recommended.

A delightful visit to this hospital from the last century, where a pharmacy is preserved with shelves full of jars with master formulas. Francisco, its director, showed us the hospital, the operating room and some great views of Cuenca. It's a shame that it's not open to the public.

We were lucky enough to visit it because it's not among the usual attractions in Cuenca, and it's well worth a visit. The building is spectacular, a former hospital of the Order of Santiago. It houses an old pharmacy that transports you to the one belonging to the apothecary brother in *The Name of the Rose*, a room with antique medical instruments, and a viewpoint offering a unique perspective of Cuenca. Hopefully, it will be open to the public soon.

A very beautiful place. It should be open to the public so everyone can enjoy its hidden corners.

Visiting the Hospital de Santiago is like stepping back in time and, at the same time, enjoying one of the most outstanding architectural examples in the city. Thanks to its director, Francisco, I was able to enjoy this experience. As you approach the building, its monumental façade stands out, creating a feeling of standing before a place steeped in history. Inside, the spacious courtyards, arched galleries, and high ceilings recall the grandeur of historical buildings dedicated to public service. Every corner seems to hold stories of the doctors, patients, and staff who passed through its doors, thanks to Francisco's explanations that transport you to each era. The viewpoint is breathtaking, offering a glimpse into how Cuenca has evolved. Highly recommended.
