The owner himself came and did the check in (if he isn't there just ring the number above the door after 3 pm, when check in opens). First impression is that it is very small, since when you enter you have a small room to the side where breakfast was served and then a staircase up to two rooms, and then further stairs to another two rooms. We were the only occupants during that night as well, so it was relatively quite as well. The room we had was facing another house's balcony, which was in a dingy state, but this didn't even affect us. The owner does a great job of keeping the rooms nice and tidy, they are modern and war as well. I really liked the feature wall, which had the old stones showing through. Even the floorboards and roof beams were made of old wood, presumably preserving the old style. The dehumidifier was a nice touch as well since old houses tend to be colder during the winter months. Plus, since we arrived soaking wet from a day of walking, it was very delightful to hang up your clothes to find them dry in the morning. Although it was old, there were 7 other electricity outlets, so plenty of options to charge your phone. Breakfast was included as well. When we checked in, the owner asked us (Spanish mixed with English, quite difficult to find someone who speaks English in these parts) at what time we wanted to eat. The next morning we found the table laid out with food and he even toasted bread for us, which was quite nice. Would recommend staying over at this place

Rustic pension on Camino Inglés. No problems with self check-in and the room itself was nice. However it was seriously damp, especially the wall behind the bed. Bedding felt damp and wall paper was bubbling up in many places. Not to mention the polystyrene ceiling tiles which are a fire hazard. The host Julio arrived in the morning to serve breakfast which was plentiful. Great location for the Camino, but spoilt by a significant damp problem.
