La Residencia San José cuenta con excelentes instalaciones, personal atento y profesional, y es valorada como un lugar ideal para el cuidado de personas mayores, especialmente en etapas avanzadas de la vida. Sin embargo, existen inconsistencias en la calidad del servicio de cafetería y la atención al público, con algunas críticas sobre la actitud del personal en este área, lo que afecta negativamente la experiencia de las familias visitantes.

The cafeteria service at the Torrelavega Asylum Foundation Residence has not only been poor in terms of quality and punctuality, but, even more seriously, the treatment we, the family members, have received has been extremely unpleasant. The cafeteria manager is in a bad mood, and this displeasure is being passed on to all the family members who are trying to enjoy a pleasant evening with our loved ones, which I consider absolutely unacceptable, especially in an environment that should be focused on the well-being of our family members residing there.

It's the ideal place to receive care in the final stages of life. I have a family member as a resident, and we're happy. Naturally, there are some things that could be improved given the size of the residence. It has spacious rooms and a beautiful garden, and it's very close to the city center, so it's easy to pop in for a coffee in the town squares.
