El Centro de día El Club de la Memoria ha recibido una crítica severa respecto a la calidad de su servicio de cuidado domiciliario, con denuncias sobre la contratación de personal inexperto e insuficientemente capacitado para atender a personas mayores vulnerables, así como problemas en la gestión de recursos humanos que resultan en dificultades para encontrar reemplazos adecuados. A bad experience with home care services. After two years with this organization, they terminated the contract based on what a worker told them—a worker who wasn't even on their staff, but rather someone they hired to replace a regular employee during vacation. The reason they have difficulty finding replacements is that they all go on vacation at the same time, forcing them to resort to very young unemployed people who don't even know how to make a bed or air out the rooms. The elderly person has to be told how to do the work, simple household tasks that anyone can do, when that's not their job, especially when dealing with elderly people who can't stand and are the ones they're supposed to be caring for. If this is how it is with just household chores, imagine what they'll do with the personal hygiene of elderly people who also have some kind of cognitive impairment. Inexperienced people shouldn't be hired for this job, as it involves caring for elderly people. By the way, the technician María José is rude and lacks empathy. If you're in a consultation because you've had a procedure and suffered an incident, and you tell her you can't speak, she sends you a text message to let you know in writing. It's clear they have money to burn and can just keep terminating contracts. Madam President of this Association, please choose better technicians for this job.
