An absolutely deplorable experience. This care home demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and humanity towards the elderly people it is supposed to care for. The staff fails to provide even the most basic care: residents go for hours without having their diapers changed, leading to undignified situations and a constant, unpleasant odor throughout the facility. The overall feeling is one of abandonment and neglect. There is no proper follow-up or genuine care for the elderly, who seem to be treated as a burden rather than as people deserving of respect and dignity. The management is completely incompetent. When faced with any complaint or incident, they never acknowledge their mistakes, simply dodging responsibility and passing the buck. There is no self-criticism or willingness to improve, which is especially serious in a place where the well-being of vulnerable people is at stake. I would not recommend this care home under any circumstances. It is a place that does not meet the minimum standards of care, hygiene, and professionalism. I have an elderly relative who has been living there for several years; unfortunately, I cannot afford another care home, and the public ones won't accept me. If you have a choice, don't condemn your elders to this residence. I personally would rather pass away than spend a single day in this place.

Our mother was only in this care home for a few months. When we admitted her, everything seemed fine, and the director was very attentive. As the days went by, and during our visits, we realized how little staff there was and how outdated and obsolete the facilities really were. The bells kept ringing, but no one answered them—a complete lack of professionalism, starting with the director, who would respond to any complaint with "no problem, we'll look into it," and days would pass with absolutely nothing resolved... this happened over and over again. It was an exhausting situation, especially when dealing with elderly people. The auxiliary staff acted as if they were doing nothing (on their phones and not really paying attention to the residents, just pretending to be doing something). No one was supervising their activities, and since the poor elderly residents didn't complain, it seemed like everything was fine; but when you visit, you realize the truth, and it's heartbreaking. I wouldn't recommend this care home to anyone for anything in the world.

Staff shortages, inadequate care for the elderly, dilapidated and very old furniture, some of it falling apart. When complaining to management, all we get are empty promises and no concrete action. What was once a leading senior living facility has been completely lost under the management of Clínica Madrid. There are no protocols for assisting and supporting residents when they are taken to the emergency room and their families are absent; they are simply put in the ambulance and left to their own devices. There is a lack of cleanliness and hygiene in the rooms and common areas. The medical service does not meet the residents' needs. It is not a guarantee of reliable care. Currently, I recommend exploring other residences before placing a family member. There is a shortage of staff, and new people arrive frequently; they don't know the residents or their needs. There is no initial contact between family members and the residence, which is detrimental to the elderly residents.

The care home was severely understaffed; they were overwhelmed, even though the staff were kind, but there weren't enough of them. We had to take our father out after just a few days due to the lack of attention and care he was receiving. It wasn't the same day because all the paperwork and payment had already been completed. I would like the management to address this issue, as this care home has received many complaints. I forgot to mention, we wanted a room for our father to be alone, and we got one, but the furniture wasn't just old; it was in such a state of disrepair. I would like the authorities responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of private care homes to be more vigilant, as we have no other option but to resort to them, despite the financial burden our family places on us, due to the lack of public care options.

Our short experience is regrettable. The staff is overwhelmed, as there aren't enough workers and there's no communication between them, so we've suffered the abandonment and neglect of our family member. The facilities are in urgent need of renovation, and I'm talking about the safety of the residents. We've had three room changes in just a few weeks due to leaks. The smell is very unpleasant, the food leaves much to be desired, the mashed potatoes don't come out clean, valuables are missing, and there's a lot of disorganization with clothing, even though it has marks. Honestly, if you have a little time, look for another nursing home if you don't want to suffer for your loved ones. It used to be managed by the Ministry of Defense, but now it's run by a private company that doesn't care at all about the dignity of our elders.
