Words cannot express my gratitude to the entire team at La Luz Residence in Aranda de Duero, Burgos. My father arrived in mid-June 2024 in a deplorable state, both physically and emotionally. From day one, they worked tirelessly, collaborating across disciplines to help him recover. Just three months later, my father was already walking, regaining muscle strength, going to the gym with enthusiasm, eating in the dining room, socializing with other residents, and even going to the supermarket and on outings without a walker. His occupational therapist (María), his caregivers in the ward and kitchen/dining area, the healthcare staff, the lovely receptionists, and Beatriz, the social worker who fulfilled my father's wish to move closer to his hometown of Valladolid on October 29th, made this possible. He arrived at the new residence after 17 months of comprehensive care, fully recovered. All the staff at La Luz Residence made this possible with their dedication, love, and respect for our elderly residents. I will carry you in my heart forever 💞 THANK YOU TEAM!! Paloma

Top marks for La Luz residence. There's a huge difference between doing a job and being a professional, and I can say that in the almost year and a half my father has been there, I've had the opportunity to see firsthand the exceptional care and attention he's received from all the staff. My father has a complex multi-morbidity condition that affects him both physically and mentally, and he also has a somewhat difficult personality. They have achieved, with the utmost respect, an extraordinary adjustment and follow-up that has surprised me greatly, as it's not a mental health center. At our request, my father was transferred to a facility closer to the family, but he would have been happy to stay there. Beatriz, the social worker, is always attentive, incredibly kind, and dedicated to managing so many elderly residents. Andriy, the doctor, has an incredible touch in managing my father's care. They make me believe that our elderly relatives can be very well cared for and alleviate the worry that we families always feel. Many thanks to all the professionals at La Luz. 🥰

My mother was admitted on July 15th, and on October 1st we had to admit her to the hospital for severe dehydration and kidney failure, and they told us she was fine, and had lost a few pounds. Once she leaves the hospital, she'll never go back.

She felt like part of a big family, receiving lots of love, care, cleanliness, and attention 24 hours a day. I loved how involved you are in the residents' lives, organizing activities both inside and outside the center to keep them active.
