I have had access to several videos posted on the social media platform TikTok in which residents of this facility, specifically a man identified as Cecilio, are exposed in situations that violate their dignity. In the attached video, the resident is seen in pajamas (loungewear), clearly uncomfortable as he is urged to dance and participate in scenes he does not want. These events constitute, in my opinion, a serious violation of the fundamental rights of elderly people in dependent situations. I believe it is a violation of personal and family privacy. Is this man lucid enough to know that his videos are being publicly displayed on social media for entertainment and virality? Is he really aware? I don't think so. The nursing home should be an environment of protection, care, and respect, not a stage for social media exploitation at the expense of vulnerable people.

I discovered this page by chance. I'm giving the residence four stars because I think that, like everything, it can be improved. My mother stayed there a few years ago. I was very satisfied, and if there's one thing I can highlight, it's the way the residents are treated. I only remember two names, but I'd like to remember them all. Ana and Fidel are examples of compassionate care. Thank you so much from afar.

I am Father Nicanor, an 80-year-old retired priest, of sound mind. I raise my voice against the undignified spectacle presented here. This nursing home has become famous for filming vulnerable elderly people, especially Cecilio. They are filmed eating, in their pajamas, even sleeping, reducing them to puppets for cheap entertainment and business promotion. I have seen caregivers yell at them like babies, forcing them to participate in TikTok dances they don't want. Cecilio and others clearly express their rejection, but they are not heard. God does. "The face of an elderly person must be honored" (Leviticus 19:32). Here, however, their privacy and dignity are marketed. The woman who appears to be the owner, who must be around 50 years old, behaves and dresses as if she were 20, imposing her will and frivolity on those who no longer have the strength to defend themselves. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites” (Matthew 23:27). God sees what you do, and you will not be able to avoid judgment. Those who exploit the frailty of the elderly for profit and laughter are preparing their way to hell. What they show is not joy, it is humiliation. It is not care, it is abuse. The Lord sees everything, and He also sees how those who should be respected in their final stages of life are trampled on. “Whatever you did for one of the least of these my brothers, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40). Respect for your elders. Because if you mock them today, tomorrow God will hold you accountable for every tear and every gesture of contempt.

I know this care home from the videos that the staff frequently post with residents. I find it an absolute lack of respect. I don't know how management allows it. It would certainly be the last place I would take any of my family members. 😡
