A nursing home next to a beautiful Park

The care for the elderly residents is phenomenal, and the garden they have for walks is lovely. They have rosary mass from Monday to Sunday, except Saturdays. Since it's located within Bilbao, you can take them for walks in Doña Casilda Park, which is near the residence, and around the streets of the area. I don't give it five stars, I give it ten.

I entered this place through the park and stayed because of its retirement home. The entrance is delightful: a spacious park filled with large green trees, lush, well-maintained lawns, and a central fountain teeming with fish, which enhances the idyllic setting. The entrance is grand and stately, and you can find elderly residents with companions in every hallway. At Christmas, they set up a beautiful Nativity scene, which is well worth seeing. It's worth noting that it's a private facility with private security, so you need to ask permission to enter, as well as to take photos or videos. Highly recommended.

My review is for the extremely unpleasant security guard you have. This Sunday morning, December 7th, we were walking by and didn't realize it was a care home. We saw a chapel and didn't notice the guard booth where this person was stationed. Very rudely, he told us we couldn't just walk right in like we owned the place, on several occasions. We were stunned. On the third attempt, rather than tell him to get lost, we left. I work in a care home, and when someone has made a mistake, we haven't treated them like that. Being a care home, you shouldn't have someone so bitter and rude. Regards.

We Bilbao residents should all erect a monument to the Muisericordia nursing home. It's an impressive place, with impressive facilities, and best of all, the care provided to our elderly residents by all the caregivers, doctors, assistants, etc. Truly congratulations. Keep up the good work.
