Hello. First of all, I want to say that some of the comments I've read don't reflect the actual experience at Loiu Gurena. My mother has advanced Alzheimer's, and we decided to try it for 15 days in the summer of 2024. We'd heard great things about it, but the reality exceeded the reviews. In May 2025, she was admitted permanently. I have to say that they provide exceptional care. If you ask for a favor, it's resolved in a minute. Anything you want checked is looked at in no time. The staff is very friendly, from the director to the cleaning staff. Everyone is attentive and makes sure that the patient and their family feel as comfortable as possible. The surroundings are pleasant, with nature for walks, good parking, etc. Without a doubt, I would recommend it a thousand times over. Best regards to all the staff, and keep up the excellent work.

No matter how many good things I'd heard about this residence, I couldn't have imagined how incredibly wonderful it is. The facilities are superb, the staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional—I can't say enough good things about it. My mother moved in a week ago; she'd always lived at home, and she's simply happy. If we wanted to take her out now, she wouldn't want to. My sister and I are amazed; she doesn't even remember her own house. The way the staff treats all the residents is exquisite, as is the order and cleanliness. The meals are fantastic, and they organize activities for the residents in the mornings and afternoons. She's looked more than five years younger in just one week—it's incredible! Thank you so much to all the staff because it's simply impossible to do any better. We are deeply grateful to have found you.

Hello, my name is Mariasun, and I want to express my gratitude to this wonderful residence through this review. After visiting many residences in our area, none seemed suitable for my mother. We aren't very demanding people, but the decision to admit my mother after the sudden death of my father, while we were still grieving, was very difficult. Then, on the recommendation of a client, we went to Loiu to see the facilities and meet the staff and residents. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely reassured. We absolutely loved the atmosphere, and as soon as we left, our decision was made. Now, after almost a month of my mother being there, I can say that reality has far exceeded our expectations. We are delighted with absolutely everything we are experiencing with my mother. I recommend it one hundred percent. My mother is very happy, has adapted incredibly well, and her life has changed for the better. Thanks to the entire team, my mother's well-being is very important to me, and I can't thank you enough for my experience and how much you've changed my understanding of care homes. These are decisions that are sometimes made out of necessity, and my fears about it have completely disappeared. My brother and I are absolutely delighted.

We urgently needed a place where my brother could be treated. From one day to the next, they offered us a room. The treatment he received during the month he spent there until he left us was impeccable, wonderful, indescribable. They were incredibly involved like I've never seen before. I will be eternally grateful to the Gurena team. My full support and respect, from the first to the last. Thank you so much for your technical, human, and psychological support.

I don't know anyone here, but I've been visiting and talking to the locals, and these are my conclusions: -Too few staff members for all the people there. -At least they're very nice people, that's true. -Poor attention to the elderly and their families. -To get them to their rooms, they're wheeled in very, very quickly. -Everyone has told me the food is terrible. They use leftovers from the previous day and disguise them as food. For example, if there are chickpeas leftover, they make chickpea meatballs the next day. And everything is disgusting.
