I'm considering taking a family member to the center. But I'm worried because they only seem to thank those who give them good reviews. I don't see any self-criticism. In the end, I did take my family member, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend it at all. During their stay, I noticed a lack of attention to the person who was constantly having problems. Unfortunately, they passed away, and we had to deal with management overcharging us—if we hadn't checked, they would have pocketed the money without a second thought. Unbelievable.

My mother will have been in the residence for 3 years, and I only have good things to say, the whole service is phenomenal: nurse, doctor, cleaning, food, good atmosphere.

It's very good... It's true that the common areas on the dormitory floor could be larger. I rate the residence staff as excellent, with a 10/10 for their friendly staff. The garden isn't very large, but it's perfect for sitting there and getting some fresh air or sun. I endorse the residence staff's rating... 10/10.

Overcrowded facility, complete lack of control over residents, loss of clothing, constant room changes. The doctor ignored my warnings, and it took more than four days to realize my relative had acute hepatitis due to a new medication they were giving him (which I asked to be discontinued, but they ignored it). This resulted in a 10-day hospital stay, and no one from the nursing home called to inquire about his condition... it's dangerous to have healthcare professionals so "clueless." Our seniors undoubtedly deserve better.

I know I have to rate the care home here, but at the moment I don't have enough information to give you a better or worse rating. I can only say that I've admitted a family member due to a specific surgery, and I'm the one who cares for her annually. It strikes me as odd that my mother, given her age and intelligence, has been placed on a floor that isn't appropriate for her. Please, Provincial Council, things done properly are done properly.
