We are very happy with the Bouco Bilbao Zabalbide Residence. The staff is caring, attentive, and always looking out for the residents. We would especially like to highlight the occupational therapist, who is motivating and very attentive to the residents, always with a smile. The facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming, and communication with families is excellent. Without a doubt, it's a place where you feel your loved ones are in good hands.

I have had the opportunity to visit the Bouco Zabalbide Residence on a business visit, and I leave with a very positive impression. The facilities are spacious, bright and adapted, designed to promote the comfort and autonomy of residents. I especially want to highlight the attention of the management team and staff, who convey commitment, closeness and a clear vocation for care. I have found its person-centered comprehensive care model especially valuable, which respects the rhythms, decisions and dignity of each resident. In addition, the fact that it is a restraint-free center reflects an advanced and deeply respectful philosophy of care.

If you truly love your elderly, don't put them in this nursing home. We'll quickly get my grandfather out of here, not only because of the quality of life they provide, but also because of the management of the facility itself. The sales presentation is very nice, but it doesn't reflect reality: the dishes aren't displayed (I've visited them day in and day out, and I've seen this myself, and when you ask, they can't explain why), nor are they given the dishes they want to choose from, as they pretend. In fact, since they go down the wards in shifts, the last few shifts were left without food. For example, the last shift was given four grains of rice without the chicken, so my grandfather would go down first in his wheelchair, even though they reprimanded him for it, as he was left with practically no food on several occasions. We discussed this with other residents and spoke with the families about leaving complaints in writing. Not only food, which is essential, but I also want to emphasize the passivity of the Director and the incompetence of the Social Worker, because thanks to our Provincial Council employee, she managed the aid properly, since she had miscalculated the deadlines. My grandfather was sick from a wound, and all the doctor did was push pills through a tube, pills that Basurto later discarded... To top it all off, since neither the Director, the employee, nor the billing department responded, I was forced to file a claim with Kontsumobide to get the money we were owed back. The claim ended with our reasoning, and I went there when they responded and paid us what we were owed. I could explain much more, but I just want to make it clear that this is a nursing home that doesn't care about its residents and is only interested in the money they can get out of them. A real shame...

A very positive experience. It gives you complete peace of mind to leave your elderly relatives at the residence because the staff is very attentive, respectful, and caring, from management to the staff on the floors. Everything was great!
