Opiniones

If you care about your loved ones, don't take them to that center... terrible management and alleged negligence have been reported. Our experience was chaotic. There are no accidents or alleged negligence in well-organized and managed centers. When our mother passed away, the management's reaction was quite cold and distant. I have never seen anything like it from any other social and healthcare center. Any director knows they represent a business group, a group identity, and certain principles and values. I don't believe that the values this director displays—despotism, arrogance, indifference, and speeches focused on shifting blame instead of showing a minimum of empathy to a family that has lost a loved one—represent the identity of that group. It's very sad that they have people like that running centers.

I want to express my gratitude for the care and professional, compassionate treatment my parents, Jose Sánchez Blázquez and María Sánchez Sánchez, received from all the professionals at DomusVi/Decanos Ávila, especially the nursing and support staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I want to thank all the staff caring for my parents for the love and attention they give them, and the dedication they put into their work, which makes them so happy. It's wonderful to see these workers caring for our elderly and making them as happy as I see the children at work.

The people who run this care home are shameless, and the psychologist is just as bad; only the caregivers are any good. The treatment of the elderly residents is getting worse and worse; they're left abandoned without a care in the world. All they care about is squeezing more money out of the poor people… it's disgraceful. My grandmother, for example, isn't even taken to the dining room or to the activities, and the explanation they give is that she coughs—it's shameful! Besides, the food is awful; it's getting worse all the time. Choose another care home because this one leaves a lot to be desired. They leave the poor elderly residents in their rooms 24 hours a day. It's heartbreaking.

Their Wi-Fi doesn't work either. They give you a username and password, and it worked one day, coincidentally, on the day of the festival in June. Never again. The blog, with a different link, works, but it's completely unrelated to the previous one. The other one had upcoming activities and the monthly menu.
