Opiniones

The worst place to send a loved one. Period. We had to move, and within a single day, everything improved rapidly.

It was awful, terrible, and beyond words how bad it was. My uncle was there for two months, constantly calling for help. They tie them up so they don't bother anyone and they mistreat them—not all of them, but a couple are decent. If you care about your elders, this isn't the place for you. Empathy, tact, tenderness, and professionalism are foreign concepts to this place.

It's run by a character who's a complete fraud. You go to see the residence, he tells you there's a free spot for your relative, you agree with him to reserve it, and when you call the next day he tells you he gave it to someone else who wanted it because they were being discharged from the hospital. When you point out that there was a prior mutual agreement, he snaps that "this works like Booking.com." A truly disgraceful, expert-level person who shouldn't even be selling gum.

Impeccable service. Very, very kind staff. My mother (who has passed away) always told me how happy she was, how well she was treated, and how delighted she was with the food (she loved to eat, and this was important to her). With the activities and walks she took in the residence's beautiful garden, she was never bored. I am very grateful for all their thoughtful touches.

My grandmother came from what was supposedly the best nursing home in Gijón (certainly the most expensive), and we moved her to this one because it was in a deplorable state of disrepair and she'd even stopped walking, and the change was radical. Fortunately, we visit her almost every day, and she's always happy; it looks clean, well-kept, and tidy. The fact that they have an outdoor area is a real luxury for them, not to mention the location, which is in a beautiful area where you can take pleasant walks by the sea. So far, we're very happy.
