La Residencia 3ª edad Mediterráneo presenta un panorama extremadamente negativo según las opiniones de los usuarios, con calificaciones unánimes de 1/5 estrellas y denuncias graves sobre negligencia en el cuidado, falta de higiene que ha causado infecciones graves y deterioro acelerado de la salud de los residentes. El personal es descrito como poco cualificado, desatento y con actitudes negativas, mientras que la gestión administrativa y sanitaria es cuestionada por su ineficiencia, falta de transparencia y ausencia de supervisión médica adecuada.

Personal not very helpful. More or less bad mood. My mother has been laying for over 24 hour without water. Only want money. Not recommended.

Hello, my husband is supposed to stay there, but given all the negative reviews, I think I'll hesitate. I hope he'll be well cared for; otherwise, I'm thinking of changing residences. Having worked with elderly people in their homes, providing personal care and assistance, I hope to find satisfaction there.

Garbage!!!! My grandmother has lasted four months since she arrived, and we had to find another nursing home so she could have another chance. After four months there, she ended up in the emergency room with a full-body infection affecting organs and causing multiple organ failure. Fungus in her mouth caused by a lack of hygiene. I have to say she wasn't 100% capable; she needed help walking, getting up, and other things, but she ate alone, spoke, and heard well. Now she's bedridden and 100% dependent. Places like this should be closed. If you're looking for a nursing home, don't even think about going near this one!!!

More than a care home, it's a slaughterhouse! Unqualified, incompetent staff who hate their jobs, zero empathy, and zero dedication. It took four months for our relative to go from eating independently and being able to sit up when she arrived, to being bedridden after spending 15 days in the emergency room. She arrived with untreated, infected sores and wounds on her ankles, which they covered with socks and shoes to hide them. She also had oral thrush due to nonexistent hygiene, a terrible infection, and a blood sugar level of over 600 (three times the normal level) despite being diabetic! Muffins and toast for breakfast! Incompetence once again on the part of the kitchen staff! Staff who don't care about the suffering and health of their residents! An absent director and a nonexistent doctor. The staff at this place are completely unprofessional, from reception to the director. They refuse to give you the paperwork and give you the runaround because they're utterly incompetent at their jobs; they simply don't know how to do them. It took four months to apply for dependency benefits, and the assessment hadn't even been done yet. I can't say it any clearer: this isn't a care home! It's a slaughterhouse! We will be filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities.

The Mediterráneo Residence in Alicante leaves much to be desired. The director, Delfina, treats the staff unacceptably, even insulting them, which demonstrates a lack of professionalism and possibly emotional problems affecting her management. This negatively impacts the care of the residents, who receive inadequate and dehumanizing attention. I would not recommend this residence under any circumstances.
