Opiniones

The treatment is unbeatable. I felt supported from the very first moment. It's gratifying to feel like you're leaving a loved one in good hands, and I know they've already made it their home. Both the healthcare professionals and the care received by the management staff have been excellent. I would return and recommend it to anyone in a similar situation. I can only say thank you.

In the psychogeriatric ward, humane treatment is nonexistent, zero empathy, and basic care bordering on poor. The staff completely ignores repositioning, hygiene, nutrition, etc. Every day you visit your relative, you're met with a (negligible) surprise. In bed in the middle of winter with the windows open, bruises that no one can explain (we're talking about a bedridden person who can't move), severe weight loss that no one notices, medication not administered correctly, zero follow-up by the medical staff... etc., etc., etc. Management offers zero solutions. My relative's stay in the residence is one I'd rather forget. It was a very difficult experience.

I don't give them a zero because there aren't any. Very poor professionals, terrible care for the elderly, terrible social and healthcare team. Poor nutrition, alarming weight loss, bedsores develop very quickly and are not treated. A few gauze pads, covered up, and the elderly person has to suffer. They don't make postural changes, they are switched to purees that no one will swallow, neglect of family members, ... The elderly are treated very poorly; my experience has been traumatic. I would not recommend it in any situation. In the end, it costs more each month than they claim, but even though the amount of money they get per elderly person is significant, the provincial council also pays them. That would be the least of it if they took good care of the elderly. They don't. At least that's my experience. Terrible professionals. I would never put my family there again. Anywhere would be better than there. It couldn't be worse, but unfortunately, this isn't a movie; it's a terrifying reality for the elderly person who suffers from it. Record when you see something that doesn't add up and call the police. I didn't record it, I have no proof, and now I can't file a complaint. Record it and get them out of there as soon as possible. So much nonsense! It makes my body sick to see so much falsehood and hypocrisy. And you dare to respond to what you did. Some of you should be in jail. Immoral. You have no forgiveness from God or man. The number one goal of that place and its owners is greed and the most perverse avarice. I only wish that at the end of your days they treat you the way you treated my loved one. I wish you the worst. I can never forgive you.

Our elderly residents are not treated equally; it all depends on the floor (0, 1, 2). There's a lack of information, time restrictions per floor, insufficient daily assistance, and it's unfair despite the substantial monthly allowance.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible for me to do my internship at this residence. It's a very welcoming place and everyone is like family—I mean everyone who works there and the residents. I'm very grateful.
