Accompanying a relative to a nursing home is often painful. When we left home to take our mother to Sanitas Mayores two years ago, I consciously reviewed the spaces and realized that my childhood home disappeared at that moment. On the other hand, Sanitas Mayores has made us understand the importance of professional care when the time comes. So that we, her family, have been able to be with her mother from another angle: talking to her through a drawing, a book, a snack or a walk. Without a doubt, her mother has been in very good hands; with physiotherapists, nurses, doctors, assistants and cleaning staff, who have proven to be top-notch professionals; not only in terms of their work, but also for the delicacy and love with which I have always seen her treated, until the end. I would like to express my gratitude to the entire team at the Sanitas Mayores de Tarragona Nursing Home for the treatment my mother received over the past 2 years. Your professionalism has been excellent in all aspects, knowing that she was surrounded every day by people who treated her with respect and dignity has reassured us as a family. Being able to be with her in common spaces such as the cafeteria and library has helped us to be closer to her. An exceptional nursing home, with unbeatable humane and professional treatment. My grandfather lived in this nursing home, and we couldn't be more grateful. From the first day, he felt very comfortable, cared for, and accompanied. The staff is incredibly attentive, always smiling, treating the elderly with care, patience, and respect. You can tell they love their jobs and put their heart into everything they do. The facilities are always clean, well-maintained, and tailored to their needs. The food is homemade and varied, and the activities they organize keep the residents active, entertained, and happy. Seeing my grandfather so calm and happy is priceless. They gave us great peace of mind as a family, knowing he was in good hands. I definitely recommend this nursing home to any family looking for a place where their elderly are treated with dignity, affection, and professionalism.
