My name is Lola Rodríguez. And I have to thank the Cruz Blanca residence and its incredibly kind staff. To Lola, the director; to Belén, the social worker; to Manoli, the nurse; to the cooks, Manoli and Yoli; to the assistant, Lurdes; to Rocío, the flamenco dancer; to Pepi, Reyes, Rafi, Iván, and the physiotherapist, whose name I can't recall. Etc... I am so grateful to everyone for their great professionalism and their big hearts. They are wonderful people whom I have been lucky enough to meet, and my poor brother Manuel (Alberto) was even luckier. He is no longer with us. That damned cancer took him. I must thank the Cruz Blanca residence for treating my brother and me with such kindness and compassion in December 2025. The residence provided me with food, affection, and many comforting kisses and hugs during one of the most difficult times of my life: the loss of my brother, Manuel. He was a wonderful person, a good boy who knew no human evil. Like an angel who came into this world to suffer. But I am grateful for the fact that this residence, Cruz Blanca, and its incredibly kind staff, came into my brother's life. When he was admitted, he asked me to take him home. The Cruz Blanca residence. That's how my Manuel felt at home. And it's no wonder. With all the wonderful people who work there. I ask those who have family members in this residence or others, that when their relatives are admitted, they don't forget them. That they don't go months without seeing them. And that they don't criticize the good people who work there afterward. They offered me a room with my Manuel. They fed me. They hugged me. And they gave me strength for what was to come: my Manuel's death on December 31st. I was there on December 25th. And I watched in astonishment as the grandfathers and grandmothers dressed up, all dressed in their finest. The grandmothers even put on lipstick, a hopeful red, hoping their children or relatives would come to see them. Imagine my surprise! You could count on one hand the relatives who came to see their parents or siblings. Let me tell you a story. That day at 4:00 a.m., I went to the restroom and saw a puddle of water in the hallway outside the visiting room. I spoke to Yoli, the cook, and said, "Yoli, we should clear that puddle. We don't want any grandparents or relatives to fall in." Well, imagine my surprise! Hardly any relatives came. A few, but they stayed there with their families to spend Christmas Eve. I only saw the wife of a famous singer, whose name I won't mention. I couldn't believe it. That they would forget about their parents or siblings. But whatever happened, it didn't dampen the grandparents' spirits. They had a wonderful dinner. Even my poor Manuel, who hadn't eaten anything for almost three weeks, ate the cake they gave me. Because they gave me an exquisite dinner: prawns, a platter of chorizo with cheese and cured pork loin, and a delicious soup that Manuel loved. The broths they serve there at Cruz Blanca are amazing. Hats off to the cooks! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may God bless all the staff at Cruz Blanca. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wednesday the 16th was the last day of a family member's life at this nursing home. We have nothing but words of gratitude for everything you've done for her during her time there. A big hug to all the staff who have always cared for her.

Without a doubt, words of gratitude for the care received by both my grandmother and the rest of my family. Being there is like being at home; each and every staff member has instilled peace of mind, the mutual affection between the inmates and themselves, and what can I say about the final goodbye? Without a doubt, eternally grateful.

I recommend this nursing home 100%. The human quality of its entire staff is transmitted to both users and family members. When my father arrived at this center two years ago, he had just left the hospital due to COVID-19. He had been admitted to the military hospital for a month, and after being discharged, he was disoriented and unable to walk. He went directly to this nursing home, where their care, good work, and perseverance helped my father walk again. We visited him frequently, and he told us how well he was feeling there and how kind and attentive the entire staff was to him. He was also delighted with the meals, based on vegetables, fresh fruit, and food tailored to his needs. He participated in therapies and games with his colleagues that kept him entertained and allowed him to socialize with others. They were very attentive and empathetic to him and to us until the very end, allowing us to be with him 24 hours a day, accompanying him in his final stages. It was then that we were able to observe the treatment received by all the residents of the center, as we spent the last few days with my father and witnessed the daily treatment he received from others. My father recently passed away, and I have nothing but words of gratitude for everyone. And I can assure you that my father would be very grateful as well. I wish all these centers operated the same way Cruz Blanca does, as we would have the peace of mind of leaving our elders in the best hands, as we have. Many thanks to everyone at Cruz Blanca: staff and my father's colleagues.

You delete the reviews I leave on Facebook and block my account. Those who fear greatly, hide something. Don't leave your relatives in this residence, especially if they are completely dependent. They give them pills to make them sleep and not bother anyone. We found my father in that state: naked, beaten, very thin, and bruised. They didn't warn us about his condition, and we called 112 ourselves to take him to the hospital. He arrived with extremely low blood pressure, hyperkalemia, malnourished, and dehydrated. He died five days later. We left the case in the hands of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
