Six years ago, my mother entered the care home. It wasn't an easy or pleasant time; as her children, we were torn between guilt and the certainty that it was necessary. From the beginning, we were aware that my mother would spend her final years there (six years). After this time filled with experiences, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your work. Thank you to the professionals who have been by her side day after day: caregivers, therapists, social worker, director, doctors, nurses, reception staff… Thank you for the work you have done and for the attention and affection with which you have cared for my mother. For six years, in any eventuality, we have always felt properly cared for, with sensitivity and understanding of the complexity of our case. Despite the distance, the Emera Macarena Care Home became a fundamental place for my brother and me. A part of our lives will forever remain in the Macarena area: that of my mother, the most important person to us. I hope this message of thanks reaches the entire team. I completed my physiotherapy internship at this residence and it was an incredible experience. I am so grateful for the warm welcome I received from day one. The facilities are fantastic, but what truly makes this residence special is the wonderful people who work here. My mother moved into this residence a few months ago, and we are very happy, especially because of the wonderful staff and the excellent care she is receiving. She herself tells us how delighted she is to be here, and she adores the staff whenever they visit. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The place, the facilities, and the compassion shown by each member of the staff are all excellent, providing the best possible care. They also offer personalized attention to each individual, including workshops, therapies, and even providing all kinds of leisure activities so that everyone continues to feel valued, regardless of any disability they may have. We are so fortunate to have a place like this to help us care for our elderly loved ones.

Our father passed away on the 4th, and he spent his last five months at the Emera Residence. We have nothing but words of gratitude for the entire team, for their professionalism, dedication, kindness, and the care they showed to everyone who lives there. We especially want to acknowledge Vicky, the physiotherapist who visited his room every afternoon with her characteristic joy and warmth. Thank you for everything.

I've been fortunate enough to experience the daily life of this residence firsthand, and to spend time with the people who live and work there. My first impression was of a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, where the elderly are well cared for and the staff goes out of their way to make them feel at home. There's a warm, respectful, and very humane approach, both with residents and their families. There's always someone willing to listen, help, or simply share a little conversation. The staff here includes professionals from various fields, from physiotherapy and social work to psychology, occupational therapy, and support staff, all working together to provide comprehensive care. They organize activities to keep residents engaged and active, and they deeply respect each person's individual pace and needs. I felt incredibly welcome and learned so much by observing how the well-being and quality of life of the elderly are prioritized through small gestures, patience, and affection, which make all the difference in their daily lives. I've left with a family—thank you so much for everything!
