As a family member of a resident, I want to express my gratitude to all the staff at Domusvi Teis for the care she received over the years. She was well looked after and cared for, as evidenced by her excellent health at almost 100 years old. The only reason for her transfer was the inability to continue paying for the residence, but they have always treated me exceptionally well. They have been a great help, and I want to give special mention to their social worker, Fernando, who, in addition to his professionalism, has shown me his humanity and empathy, helping me at every turn. I also want to mention the previous social worker, Alba Covelo, and the psychologist, Aroa, who have been very supportive of me due to my family circumstances. For all of this, I want to reiterate my gratitude for their professionalism and compassion. Fernando, a very special greeting to you for everything you have done, always with the intention of helping me and without judgment. How fortunate I am to find people like you when life takes you down a path of suffering. My eternal gratitude.

A true nightmare. If you love your family, this is NOT the place. Abandonment due to understaffing and fraud, and a lack of scheduling for rehabilitation patients, even if they tell you stories. The treatment is deplorable. The receptionist who helped me this morning is not qualified to serve the public. She refused to provide me with information about the therapy. I went to the police station for discrimination in public and attempted assault of a nurse. I had to go upstairs to give him water and get my family member settled.

They proposed manufacturing promotional scarves using recycled material from their facilities. Free samples were provided, and the final scarf was shown to be affordable and of high quality. The final response was that they preferred to import the scarves and further pollute the environment.

If your father/grandfather is totally dependent, FORGET IT. The views are beautiful and the facilities are great, but people over a certain age need attention and care. For that, you need STAFF (assistants), whom this nursing home treats pitifully; they take them for nine months and exploit them. One assistant for every 30 elderly people. And if they are totally dependent... forget about them worrying about changing their position to avoid bedsores, etc.

Speechless. Lack of cleanliness, poor hygiene, dirty dining areas, shouting. More empathy, humanity, humility, and respect are needed.
