My mother's time at Teysa was wonderful for her. She had a place where she felt understood and could socialize with people outside the family. She learned new things, refreshed her memory, and kept both her mind and body active. For the family, especially my father, it was a respite, a time to rest and regain strength to cope with the Alzheimer's disease that my mother suffered from, a disease that dominated her and prevented her from being herself. She is now a permanent resident at the Alzheimer's care facility, but my family and I will always be grateful to the amazing team at Teysa for their dedication and care towards my mother, and also for their unwavering support of my father. The staff are highly professional, dedicated, and incredibly caring and approachable. Together with the residents, they form a close-knit and loving family.
