El Centro de día Residencia Nuestra Señora del Rosario recibe evaluaciones mixtas que destacan la importancia del trato humano en el cuidado de los mayores. Mientras que algunos familiares elogian la calidez y amabilidad del personal, especialmente de ciertos miembros más nuevos que muestran gran dedicación, otros reportan que parte del equipo trata a los residentes con falta de respeto y actitud despectiva, lo que afecta emocionalmente a los abuelos. En general, hay gratitud hacia la residencia, pero existe una clara necesidad de mejorar las políticas

I'm a relative of a resident. I've been going there every day for a long, long time, and the way some staff members (from the highest ranking to the lowest) treat the grandparents leaves a lot to be desired. I've seen them speak to them with contempt and rudely. The grandparents, even if they don't think so, notice and take note 😭. Recently, a group of girls came in to cover for some vacancies in different positions, and blessed are they. With what affection they speak to them and treat them. I've seen how our grandparents' eyes light up and how they call them as soon as they hear their voices. The time these girls lose to be with them, even though they can't miss a second of their scheduled hours, is unpaid. But the grandparents and family members are grateful (we've discussed this with several family members). I think it's time to revamp our policies and, above all, our staff.
