Opiniones

My grandmother has been in many places, but none like this one. She has dementia and has a lot of trouble eating. At the last care home she was in, we had to admit her to the hospital for malnutrition, because if she didn't eat, the staff wouldn't stay with her to try to feed her. After leaving the hospital, she came straight to this care home on the recommendation of a social worker (she obviously wasn't going back to that other one). Two months have passed, and my grandmother is still stable. This care home has nurses on staff, which means the residents' health is monitored much more closely. They are also very cheerful and friendly people, both with the residents and their families. She hasn't lost as much weight again, and she seems much better and happier. Thank you so much.

My father died because of numerous acts of negligence at this nursing home, which has already been sanctioned for similar cases. He contracted a staphylococcus infection that is only found in nursing homes that fail to meet minimum hygiene standards and is easily cured with the appropriate medication. The problem is that if they abandon the sick person and don't treat them, this infection can lead to pneumonia, and the person can die from suffocation. Furthermore, they did everything they could to hide all information from me regarding his death. It's very sad how it all ended, as we were supposed to be friends. Luckily, divine justice is on its way. Edit: I now realize they are trying to delete the reviews to cover their tracks.

Our experience of our mother's stay has been very positive both for the care they have had with her and the family treatment and we have sincerely missed the family. Mother went to live in the Jubany residence in June 2020 until January 11 where she died at the age of 99 in peace, tranquility and surrounded by love from the entire team and family. Despite Covid, we have been able to enjoy Mother and she has spent her last years of life in her second home in a family, professional and expert environment. THANK YOU VERY MUCH We will always have great and good memories of these years.

My grandmother was there for less than two months. She walked in on her own two feet, in good health both physically and mentally. In less than two months at Jubany, she ended up paralyzed because she broke four vertebrae after falling three times (she had never fallen before entering the residence and lived at home with a caregiver), and she ended up being afraid of most of the caregivers because they mistreated her. More than anything, it's the enormous lack of respect shown to the elderly. First and foremost, they are people, and it's a huge disgrace how they are treated there. The only people who seem to work there out of genuine dedication are Natalia and Tere, both of whom are lovely and attentive. For all the rest of the care, I hope no one ever takes any of their loved ones to live there, as my grandmother has never been the same since. We, the whole family, are very unhappy with the treatment my grandmother received there.

We will regret for the rest of our lives taking my aunt to that center. Within a year of her being there, after several complaints to the staff and the attending physician, my aunt died from a deplorable medical condition: severe anemia, pneumonia... due to negligence. We filed a complaint with the Generalitat (Catalan government) and the center has been sanctioned. They ruled in our favor. If you can, never take your family member there.
