I want to thank the entire team at the Casal for the "care and affection" they have given my father. He spent the last 3 months of his life there and has found a great family. The last few days have been special. Everything has been taken care of so that he has the maximum comfort and does not suffer. Thank you, Eva

I want to thank all the staff, and in a special way to Dr. Anna, Tere and Pol, their empathy and the support I have received these few days that my mother Carmen Soler has been, they are extraordinary professionals. Many thanks, Paquita

My father was admitted and very well treated and staff. Especially with the TCAI Jaume Fàbregas, who gave him supervision and attention at all times of the process. Thank you for everything.

I have had the pleasure of several stays at the Casal de Curación in Vilassar de Mar, and I can only express my deepest gratitude. My experience has been exceptionally positive, largely due to the professionalism and warmth of the team. It is truly admirable how, despite their limited financial resources, they manage to offer such an excellent quality of service. I especially want to thank my primary care physician and the social services staff, whose empathy and care were fundamental. Their professional and attentive treatment made a significant difference in my recovery. Within the Casal, the medical, nursing, and support staff deserve my utmost appreciation. Their dedication and care are evident in every interaction. But if there is one thing I want to emphasize, it is the importance of rehabilitation and, in particular, the role of physiotherapy. The level of professionalism and empathy demonstrated by the physiotherapists, like the one I was fortunate enough to meet, is exceptional; many hospitals would envy professionals of their caliber. Their constant attention and concern for each patient is truly admirable. I sincerely hope that this institution, so historic and essential to the Vilassar de Mar community, will not be lost. Its legacy, the result of a selfless donation made years ago, is a fundamental pillar for the town. The Casal is an invaluable resource that has proven its worth over time, and its ability to offer such high-quality care with limited resources is a testament to its commitment.

I went to visit and it's embarrassing and very outrageous. It's not a lack of staff, it's a lack of professionalism. If a resident asks to be taken to the toilet, the girls tell him to do it on his own, I've heard a resident call out to a certain Toni, an assistant, like ten times and he didn't even pay attention to him, the residents sit down to eat and don't get up again until after dinner, I don't know if you're lucky and they let you walk alone, but if you depend on a walker they tell you not to go alone, which I think is good, but they don't take you either, we think they're in a "healing home" and if they leave them for so many hours without moving, they'll gain little mobility. In short, a home that is nonsense, it's better that there is a relative or that the resident is cognitively well because otherwise the dignity that we all have is being trampled on without consideration. Sad, very sad. I don't recommend it at all
